requested! (by the way, i'm only making it to where bruce, robin, finn, and vance were kidnapped because it's kind of hard to do all the characters.)

It had been several years since the other boys had escaped the basement. The only one who didn't escape was Finn. He's still alive, unfortunately and fortunately, but he has no memory of the other boys that had once been with him, nor the family he once had. He's taken the last name of the man who's taken him hostage, a nonconsensual decision. The only thing Finn is happy about is that he gets to go to school soon. He hasn't been out of the house for years and, now that he has an opportunity to do so, he's not going to let it go to waste.

Finn yawned, arms outstretching in front of him as he sat himself up on the bed. He doesn't remember exactly when, but Albert had allowed him to move from the basement to one of the guest bedrooms. Something about his brother 'not needing it anymore'. Finn rubbed at his eyes, squinting as sunlight poured on his face as the day started to begin outside. The boy's bedroom door creaked open gently, alerting him of another presence in the doorway.

"Good morning Finney, I made you toast and eggs."

Finn looked towards the source of the noise, smiling softly as Albert moved towards him with a plate of food. Albert placed the plate down on the bedside table, running a hand through the younger boy's hair softly as he sat beside him.

"Today's your first day of school. How do you feel?"

Finn shrugged, looking up at Albert with softened eyes. He hadn't been out of the house in so long. He had no idea what to expect.

"I don't know. Worried maybe? What if people don't like me there?"

Albert frowned, removing his hand from the boy's hair. "You shouldn't worry about things like that. I'm sure everyone will love you, just as I do." Finn responded with nothing but a simple nod, reaching for the plate on the bedside table and eating the food from it as soon as it reached his lap.

"Well. I'll leave you to get ready. You've got quite some time."

Finn smiled at him, shoving different sized bites of food into his mouth as the man began to leave the room. Before the man did so, he turned around abruptly.

"Oh and, just a reminder, don't talk to strangers."

Albert smiled at Finn as he made his way down the stairs, dressed in a warm outfit fit for the fall weather outside.

"Ready to go to school?" Finn nodded his head, shifting uncomfortably as his stomach twisted at the different thoughts of what could happen at school. Albert seemed to notice this and placed a hand upon the boy's cheek, rubbing at the skin atop of it softly. "Don't worry dear. Everything'll be just fine." Finn forced a smile, nodding his head as the man in front of him smiled back. "Yeah. Yeah, you're right. Let's go."

Albert stepped towards the door, cracking it open softly as he peered his head outside and checked the surroundings. Once he deemed them safe enough, he urged the boy behind him outside and to his car.

"Buckle up, safety first." Finn did as told, shifting into a more comfortable position in the passenger seat. Albert looked in the rearview mirror, smiling at himself quickly before he pulled the car from the driveway and down the road to the high school.

Vance, Robin, and Bruce leaned against the blonde's car, conversing amongst themselves softly.

"God, it's the first day of junior year and I haven't hated this school more than I do now." Vance kicked a stray rock on the ground, watching as it tilted and rolled away. Bruce nodded his head, not saying anything else towards the statement. "Yeah. I wish that Finn-"
