Relationship problems once again.

_

Finney was an overthinker, always thinking the worst for every situation. The good thing though is that these thoughts never last too long. There's never been any certain cause for Finney's overthinking. Not until now.

_

Bruce and Finney were sitting side by side against the boys bathroom's wall. No one ever came in here besides the two boys and Vance. The restroom had been 'out of use' since last fall, becoming a hideout area for the three teenagers. Bruce had been talking to Finn about the upcoming baseball season, smiling at the fact that they'd have a definite win this year with both boys playing on the same team. For the most part, Finn was listening. But, in the back of the boys' mind, he couldn't get a certain image out of his head.

See, Finney and Robin had been secretly dating for a month now. They interacted as best friends in public but, behind closed doors, they were intimate with each other. The two never did anything extreme but they both knew they loved one another deeply. At least, Finney thought he knew that until today. Earlier, when he had first arrived to the school, he had seen Robin and a girl 'interacting'. Robin had a warm smile on his face, almost identical to the one only Finn would see alone with the boy. The girl Robin was with stared at him with half-lidded eyes and a small mischievous smile, slowly rubbing her hand up the tan boys' arm. Finn had stared at them for awhile before heading off to his locker. Robin hadn't even looked in his direction.

Now Finn was here. Talking with Bruce in the broken upstairs bathroom, mentally sulking. The room went quiet for a minute, the bathroom door swinging open softly. Bruce's head snapped up at the noise, his lips curling into a smile as he sees who had came through the door.

"Hey Vance!"

The blonde boy looked at the other two in front of him. A lopsided smile on his face. "Hey shitheads, make some room.".

Bruce scooted to his left, Finney to his right. Vance plopped down between them and slouched. Bruce started to ask him how his day was and how he had slept the previous night, the boy in question smiling as he answered each inquiry. Finn kept quiet, eyes on his pair of black converse sneakers. He couldn't get the image out of his head. He needed to clear his mind. Finn got up, which made the other two boys in the room go quiet, and approached the sink. Vance and Bruce knew about Finney's secret relationship. They, of course, supported him fully. The water on the sink turned on, soft splashes of water hitting the inside walls of the basin. Finn put both of his hands in the sink, cupping some water and splashing it on his face. "You okay man?" Vance's voice echoed from behind him. "Yeah, fine." Finn replied, water now dripping from the strands of hair in front of his face down onto his eyes. The boy rubbed a sleeve against the wet skin. "What was Robin doing with that girl? Why did he look so happy?" Finn mentally questioned himself. A hand was placed onto his shoulder, frightening him. He turned around quickly, only seeing that the hand on his shoulder belonged to Vance. Bruce stood directly behind the blonde, a questioning look on his face. "You can talk to us Finn. We're here for you. If you need me to beat someone's ass, just say the word and I'm there." Vance told the younger boy, his face showing nothing but seriousness. Bruce nodded along to the words, muttering a "yeah" when the blonde had finished. Finn looked at the two and smiled. It wasn't very genuine but he had hoped neither boy had noticed.

"Nah I'm fine guys. Really. Gotta get to class now." Finn urged out, shuffling past the other two boys. Vance turned to look at Bruce after Finn had basically run out and down the hall.

They stared at each other for a minute before nodding in agreement.

"Finn definitely has a problem."
_

Finn had spent three and a half class periods ignoring his 'boyfriend'. Robin had no clue on to why Finn wasn't talking to him. He thought it might be because of the boy being tired from not sleeping well at home, which wasn't unusual with his circumstances. It was finally lunch and maybe Robin would be able to ask Finn about why he was so quiet.

_

Bruce and Vance sat together at a circular table. They were waiting for Finney and Robin.

"So what do you think is wrong with Finn?" Vance suddenly asked. He knows that Bruce has known the other boy longer than he has, meaning he might know something. But, unfortunately, Bruce didn't. "I don't know. Maybe Robin does? You know.. since they're-" He got cut off by Vance's hand on his mouth, which he took off once he realized Bruce wasnt going to continue his statement. Vance opened his mouth to say something but it snapped shut when something caught his eye.

Robin and the same girl from earlier were holding hands. Both of them were smiling at each other, looking very much like a couple to anyone who saw them.

Vance and Bruce were pissed.

They both stood up for a split second before the sound of a tray being placed down was heard in front of them. Finney was sitting down, his tray next to him, with his head in his arms. The other two boys immediately sat down. Now they knew why he was so down. Bruce reached out to touch Finn's arm but Finn moved back, scooting away from Bruce's attempted touch. Bruce looked to Vance. The blonde was the only person usually allowed to touch Finn when he was this upset. Vance got up and circled the table to get to Finn. He sat down, his arms slowly opening to embrace the other boy. "Come here Finn. Let me give you a hug." Vance said softly. Finn's head slightly perked up. He turned to Vance, his eyes puffy and a light shade of pink. Vance opened his arms fully, Finn gratefully climbing into his chest. Vance softly ran a hand through the smaller boy's hair, muttering comforting words to soothe him. Finn had been sniffling before, it seemed to stop the instant Vance's hand reached his hair. Now that he was feeling a little better, Finn sat more upright. He was still against Vance as he was still upset about the situation, feeling like his eyes would start flowing with tears once more at any given minute.

"What happened Finn? Did you guys break up?" Bruce whispered, eyeing their surroundings. Finn shook his head. He felt betrayed. It had only been a month, yeah, but his heart felt broken. Vance, once again, was about to say something when he was interrupted.

"Hey guys. Can I talk to you Finn."

It was Robin.
