Ever since he was little, Bruce Yamada dreamed of being in a band. He dreamed of creating music, singing it to huge crowds just to hear them sing the lyrics back to him. You can only imagine how happy the boy was when one of the videos he had posted of him singing became recognized by a producer, one very well-known. The producer had asked Bruce to send him some videos of him singing, so he could see 'how big of a deal the kid was', and maybe he'd sign him. Bruce's dreams only became more true after that. He became signed to the company the producer worked for, as well as started his own band that consisted of only him and another person who'd play the guitar and sometimes join in on the singing.

See, Bruce's life had been going real well since his video got noticed. The only thing was that his boyfriend, Vance Hopper, had some, uh, issues with his band partner. For the life of him, Bruce couldn't figure out why. Not until their debut performance at least.

Vance threw a cheese ball into the air, slightly leaning his head backwards to catch it in his mouth. Across from him, Bruce hummed a tune. It was a song he was in the process of making, although he had no lyrics to it yet.

"How's it going over there, pretty boy?" Vance placed his elbows on his knees so he could prop his head on them and lean forward. Bruce blushed at the complimented name as he turned to face his boyfriend.

"It's going okay. Still don't have any lyrics yet." Vance nodded his head, removing his elbows from his knees as he sat back against the chair he was in. "Well, hum me the tune. Maybe I could help you think of something." Bruce did as instructed, humming the tune of the song's rhythm softly. Vance listened intently, focusing on the different pitches and slight changes the rhythm had to it. When Bruce was done humming, he turned to Vance.

"It sounds like it would be a love song, but an upbeat one." Bruce nodded his head, seemingly thinking of lyrics that would fit such a thing. Vance ran a hand through his blonde hair, thinking of lyrics as well.

"I think I might have something." Bruce looked at Vance, nodding his head to signal for him to continue. Now, Vance wasn't much of a singer but he did have a good voice on him.

"Okay, how about-

"Do you remember when we kissed in the bathroom?
Damn, that was just two hours ago
Your shoelaces were untied
He said to me, "That's how I like mine"

On and on
Like you were my first love
We could just runaway
Not tell anybody"

Bruce smiled as Vance sung, blushing at the intro to it as he was reminded of what had actually happened only a few hours ago. Vance looked towards him when he was done, blushing as well. "So, uh, how was that?" Bruce went to respond but was cut off by approaching footsteps and a familiar voice.

"I think that was great Vancey. We should so sing- or, uh, Bruce should so sing that for the upcoming concert." Vance glared at Michael, Bruce's band mate, as if he had just lit his most prized possession on fire. Bruce scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, uncomfortable at the fact he was quite literally in between the two. "Uh, yeah. Vance I loved that. We'd have to add some more lyrics so it could be a whole song but that was great." The blonde nodded, smiling softly towards his boyfriend.

"Well. Bruce and I need some time to practice, you know, just together as band mates. If you don't mind, could you-" Vance slowly turned towards Michael, about to rip his throat and god knows what else out of his body, but was halted by Bruce's hand on his arm. "It's okay Vance. It'll only take like ten minutes. You've helped a lot." The blonde glanced one last time at Michael before turning towards his boyfriend. He smiled as he leaned in and connected their lips. There was a noise of disapproval behind the two boys but they dismissed it quickly.
