Chapter 50- Butterfly Kisses

I'm back!...

Knowing... NOTHING about dating- or romance in general- I decided to write a date in a restaurant... Totally, authentic, right? And, being myself- I just HAD to let Y/n ditch her date eventually and snog two people in one night.
I know readers have been... shall I say, 'fangirling' over certain characters... The specific ones in this chapter haven't been mentioned much... except, well... Anyway, in the end every ALIVE character will be able to share a nice few moments with our MC (the reader)- of course, except Kaeya (sorry to all Kaeya-lovers, but I've always despised him and think I must kill him off eventually- without any hugs or sympathy... it's unfair, I know.) The girl + guy Y/n kisses in this chapter will meet their untimely demises soon-enough, though- not death... Yet.

AND, after experiencing two months of writers-block and missing all the new Genshin updates, I think I've succeeded in writing another first date!

Hu Tao lounged on Y/n's bed alongside Ganyu , who was cutting photos from fashion magazines using only her right hand, due to the clunky cast on her left. The cutouts were wonky- but they sufficed.
Hu Tao was poring through a documentary book on the worst serial killers in history- this was a disturbing fact in Y/n's mind...
She asked Hu Tao about it, but the crimson-eyed girl brushed it off as 'nothing.'

Fridays were lazy times.

Y/n's phone then vibrated and she pulled it from the pocket of her black school blazer.

Childe
Do you have any free time this weekend?
If so, do you want to go out?

Y/n flipped over on her bed to show the new message to Hu Tao and Ganyu. "Check this out."

Hu Tao's expression of pure indignation was hilarious. "Ohmigod- WHAT!? That ginger idiot... He really does like you doesn't he? "

Ganyu sighed, "love is... complicated, you know."

Hu Tao snatched the phone from Y/n's hands. "What have you been talking about with him?... Hmm... Uhm... Food... FOOD?" Again, Hu Tao was confused.

Y/n felt heat rise into her cheeks. "-Just a class. We are partners sometimes." She answered quickly.

Ganyu frowned, "I cannot understand you. I thought you were going out with Aether?"

Again, feeling uncomfortable, Y/n answered too quickly. "He hasn't asked again, so I thought he broke it off-"

Hu Tao also sighed, "anything is better than going out with Childe." She released a laugh, "well, if you want to you can go. But Ganyu and I will have fun without you."

Ganyu cut in "I have work-"

Hu Tao leant over and stage-whispered, "I want her to know she is missing out on lots of things if she goes out with Childe." She turned to Y/n and smirked.

Y/n rolled her eyes jokingly. "If you say so."

She texted Childe back.

Sure! What do u have in mind?

His reply was instant.

The company I have an internship at has a nice restaurant! I could pull some strings to get free meals?

Hu Tao grinned, "you're really going through with this, huh?"
