Aether had seen Y/n the next day at school and told her his plans.
So they met up.

They left at the end of the day- together and wandered to a flea market.

Meanwhile, Barbara was curious. The investigation of Bennett and Fischl's deaths was kept private and not much information was applied to the public. Maybe, the investigators didn't find some pieces of evidence. She... truly was curious. So the blonde girl wandered to the hall in front of one of the home room classrooms and got down onto her knees near the lockers where Fischl was blown apart. She pressed her palms and head to the tile and peeked under. There... was something.
She quickly eyed it and wondered whether there would be one on Bennett's body too.
She checked... and yes, she was right. She quickly pocketed it for later use.
Suspicious...

Y/n was eating a cheap ice-cream and noticed that it was actually good.

Aether noticed a small pendant that Y/n was eyeing, "do you want me to buy you it? It isn't expensive."

"Um, I can buy it myself..." she sighed, she didn't want him to spend money on her.

"It's literally four dollars. And, consider it as a thank you for not rejecting me and actually going through with the 'date' idea." He smiled.

The shop owner handed it to her and she placed it over her neck. It shone a deep f/c and Y/n admired it.

She didn't stop thanking Aether throughout their date.

Eventually Y/n bought some small rice buns and sat on a bench off to the side with him, he watched her eat, smiling,

"Thank you for today, Y/n. I really appreciate it."

Her face reddened, "no need to thank me. I wanted to come!"

His heart skipped a beat and felt his own cheeks heat up. He turned away and waited for her to finish eating. Well, he daydreamed about her being his girlfriend too.

They sat there a moment longer. Y/nhad eventually rested her hand on top of his and he instinctively leaned closer.

Barbara had decided to keep the evidence until later. So she sat in the cafe as Ganyu placed a hot chocolate in front of her. She pulled some interesting objects from her purse and frowned slightly. It... was very strange. Why would someone leave something like this- their handwriting and a suspicious message... Barbara sighed. Had she not trusted everyone, she would have dug deeper- but this was not her job, it was one for the authorities or one of her more nosy classmates.
Weighing on her mind was the deaths of Bennett and Fischl.
Earlier that day- during the school hours, Barbara had ventured back the the death scene of Fischl and found some mysterious objects under the lockers. Same with Bennett. Someone had forgotten to dispose of the evidence... Or not?
Barbara assumed this person was a scatterbrain, as- this was quite crucial evidence in discovering the motive and even later, the identity of the murderer.

Barbara was wandering around after finishing her hot chocolate at the cafe, and came across a familiar-looking pair who were sitting on a bench in the proximity of the flea market.

They saw her and Aether's face fell, Y/n on the other hand, smiled and waved 'hello.'

She ran up to them, "Aether! Y/n! I have something important to tell you!"
