Wind rustled the green leaves and bright flowers of the trees outside the Kamisato Estate.
Ayaka grinned and brushed dirt off her skirt- which had been pristine pink until right then. She stepped back to eye her work, the petals drooped slightly and she frowned.
Ayato from behind her, chuckled and tried to fix them.
Once they were finished, they took a step back to admire the new-and-improved flowerbed.

"Miss Kamisato, time to prepare for your dance practise!" A maid called from the back door of their little mansion.
(Notice how I said little... it wasn't little, the word little just adds a sense of familiarity to the place.)

Ayaka nodded and stepped back inside to change into clean clothing, her brother followed her in and closed the door behind them.

Yoimiya was sprawled on the couch in the lavish living room, "are you coming to watch this time?" Ayaka rose an eyebrow.

The golden-eyed girl shook her head "you are kind of bashful, ya' know,"  she muttered around a wad of bubble gum. "I know you don't like onlookers unless it's the final performance."

She blew a large bubble and pooped it, sticky pink slime sliding back into her mouth.
Ayato winced and imagined the gum getting on their white carpet.
Yoimiya jumped up and brushed herself off- of course there was no dust to brush off in this well-maintained estate, she just performed the action for show.

"Okay, fine sir. We're going to the store." She clutched Ayato's arm, and bashfully smiled.

"Why are we- oh." He glanced downwards and Yoimiya's face flared as she grabbed a chunk of his blue hair and dragged him out the door- of course after walking down many long hallways.

She sighed, "I don't like going out to get this stuff by myself, everyone looks at me weirdly."

They arrived at the shops and Yoimiya dashed inside towards the pharmacy.

Across from the pharmacy was a clothing shop, Ayato glanced at the shop.
It was mostly empty except for some old ladies and a h/c haired girl.
He wondered whether she was there because she liked the retro clothing, or it was gift for somebody else?

Yoimiya skipped right past him to the public restrooms, and he just stared ahead at the mystifying h/c haired girl.
She looked as though she had just woken up and dressed in the dark.
She wore a short frilly dress with a floral pattern- that he was sure his grandmother had worn once, and starkly mismatched socks.
It was a quirky outfit... She still looked beautiful though.

"Yo, watcha lookin' at Ayato?" Yoimiya leaned on his shoulder, "you're practically drooling."

"Am I?"

"Pfft... Of course not! I was messing with you- but, you still look shocked. Did someone insult your dodgy lopsided haircut again?"

"It's not lopsided... o-or dodgy!" Then he trailed off, to look at the pretty girl in the clothes shop.

Yoimiya's clever golden eyes followed his gaze, "ah! Ayaka showed me pictures of her! They're friends."

"I see."

Then a sly grin found its way onto her lips, "you're abnormally quiet~" She poked his arm and he grabbed her wrist- gently.

"Please don't."

The pair wandered away, neither of them forgetting about the beauty they saw at the shopping centre.

Y/n was walking back from the shopping centre.
She clutched new dresses she bought, her mother would like it, wouldn't she?
Of course, Y/n bought a copy of it in her favourite colour. It was a pretty great catch for retro clothing.
