Y/n decided to join the swimming team temporarily- she needed to take her mind off things. (And she noticed that this city had a beautiful beach and she didn't want to drown.)
After practise, Y/n was perched on the bleachers with Mona- which she later found that was her name- the girl she drew. And she had met a nice girl from the year above her, named Sangonomiya Kokomi.
The three girls were chatting happily and eating snacks.
"Kokomi, how did you get so fast?" Y/n asked, while wringing put her h/l h/c hair.
Kokomi smiled bashfully, "it's just practise."
Mona chuckled, "you literally fly through the water like a mermaid. Beautiful and graceful."
"Aww, I didn't think you thought of me in that way..." she grinned teasingly at the dark haired girl.
Mona ran a hand through her dark ombré strands, before she got up, tugged a white t-shirt over her swimsuit and left.
Kokomi turned her attention to Y/n, "do you want me to walk you home?"
"Ah! Sangonomiya Sempai... there's no need..."
"You're welcome." Kokomi picked up her satchel, swung it over her shoulder, "come on."
Y/n and Kokomi walked together, Y/n found her eyes drifting to the mesmerising swish of Kokomi's pleated skirt.
"Y/n~" Y/n head snapped up to the sound of Kokomi's voice, "haha... Y/n, I though you were standing there, asleep."
Y/n laughed awkwardly before they settled into more comfortable topics, like school and training. Y/n noticed that Kokomi made their surroundings brighter. The normally dull path home was brightened by the other girl's beautiful face, shining and happy. Y/n walked with Kokomi, contented.
At her house's front porch she bowed jokingly to Kokomi, "thank you for walking me home."
"Ah! You don't need to thank me," Kokomi gifted Y/n with one of her most radiant smiles, then, "come here."
Y/n stepped closer to the girl.
She gasped when Kokomi placed a chaste kiss onto the bridge of her nose. Y/n covered the mark with her hand, appalled.
Kokomi merely grinned..
"I'll be taking my leave now. Bye-bye Y/n."
Y/n watched the beautiful coral-haired girl wander down the street.
