"Ojou-chan~"
Without turning from her locker, Y/n said, "one freakishly annoying ginger...?"
"Ah... Y/n don't be so harsh." He waved his hand, in a dismissive gesture.
They stood there looking at each other for a moment before another voice snapped Y/n out of her thoughts.
"Y/n. I haven't seen you for a while- since I knocked you over."
She turned around to look at the midget standing behind her, and he said, "my... apologies for our bad way of meeting."
"That's fine Scara, I almost forgot about it until now." She grinned at him, as his face reddened- probably due to annoyance at the 'pet name.'
"I-I'll be off then." His voice shook, before he reassumed his steely confidence and walked away.
Childe laughed, "he's always been a strange guy."
Y/n giggled too, and followed him to class as the bell rang.
Kokomi was walking down the hall to class too. She saw lovely Y/n with that red-headed idiot-Childe.
She clenched her teeth, 'he was such a horrible influence. Why was he annoying Y/n?'
Then she looked up from the floor, and the pair were gone.Y/n sat in class next to Hu Tao- like usual.
She felt like someone was staring at her- right into the back of her head.
She turned around and Childe waved at her mockingly. She poked her tongue out and turned back to the teacher- who, in fact, hadn't noticed. The woman was too engaged in the board.The rest of the lessons passed mostly like that.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Y/n was packing up her belongings.
"Hey! Y/n, do you want to come have dinner with me... if you're free?" Kokomi clutched Y/n's hands in her smaller pale ones.
"Oh, sure, but I'll have to ask my parents. Is anyone else going to be there?"
"Ah, yes! My friend, Gorou. He's really nice, I swear!"
Y/n pulled out her phone and dialled, she brought it to her ear as her mother's voice came through.
"Mum? Can I go eat dinner with some friends tonight?"
"Hmm, so I won't have to cook you anything?"
"Yes!"
"Okay... don't break curfew or I'm coming to look for you."
"Thanks!" She hung up and shoved the phone back into her bag. She turned to Kokomi, "let's go!"
They sat at the little sushi place. On one of the smooth wooden benches.
Before they had gotten there, Y/n had met Gorou. A boy approximately her age with chestnut-brown hair. Apparently, he and Kokomi had been friends for a long time- since they were very young.
Kokomi wandered over to the little sushi-train thing and plucked off one with, seemingly raw salmon.
She sat down at the table with the food in one hand and chopsticks in the other.
Y/n piped up, "this is kind of classy for a cheap place."
Kokomi, sliding some pink-tinged salmon into her mouth replied, "yes. I enjoy it here. Gorou isn't picky also. So, it's convenient."
Gorou and Y/n wandered over the the little escalator belt that was lain on a round long table, carrying sushi and various desserts. They picked up their servings and sat down with Kokomi.
Y/n noticed, as Gorou was hungrily munching down the rice ball, that his teeth were sharp canines.
He caught her staring and batted his eyelashes curiously, in a gesture?
Kokomi was eating the food daintily, going back to get more every few minutes.
Kokomi's plates piled up while Y/n and Gorou watched with amusement.
They shared a look and continued to eat.They trio casually chatted the way old friends did, and Y/n felt totally comfortable being around them.
Eventually she noticed both of them staring at her, she raised an eyebrow.
Gorou and Kokomi glanced away and responded, "nothing."
Almost perfectly in sync.Y/n chuckled.
Their faces reddened with embarrassment. And glared at one another- presumably being annoyed that Y/n noticed the other.She smiled at the duo.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gorou and Kokomi stood outside, waiting for Y/n who was paying for her food- they had already given the money.
Gorou glanced at the taller (and older) girl, "I'm sorry. I didn't know that this was a scheme for you to go on a date with her."
Kokomi puffed her cheeks out before mellowing again, "pfft- no worries. I forgot to tell you, but that's okay."
Y/n came out and they smiled at her, "Y/n~"
Gorou lived near Y/n. So Kokomi followed both of them down the street- walking her friends home.
She was giddy as Y/n clasped both her and Gorou's hands, swinging her arms. Y/n happily skipped along, not a care in the world. Gorou looked just as joyful, following after her, grinning from ear-to-ear.
They had gotten very close- quickly.Y/n got to her home and stepped inside. Before closing the polished wooden door she popped her head out, h/c hair falling around her face, "thank you for tonight." And she disappeared behind the door.
Gorou wandered home too.
Kokomi stared after him, who was walking calmly down the street.She stepped outwards and walked away into the dark.

(Spoiler)
(Who should I kill? Ganyu and Kokomi are vaguely similar in the way I depicted their love. But I want to kill one to add to the plot. It originally was going to be outing lovely Kokomi, but while writing her, I got too attached. And Ganyu was going to disappear later in the story anyway. I'm not sure who I should spare, and just go with how I planned, Kokomi being killed and Ganyu disappearing. Or should I try something else?)
(Not definitely going to kill her now, though.)
