CALM WAVES
A sound of fresh water from a pond rang into a quiet palace as it peacefully flowed like a never-ending knowledge of life, fondling through tiny and medium-sized rocks that stuck into the clean healthy soil, sparkling and tinkling like precious gems as the sun shone above it.
The breeze blew through the peaceful area until it came into contact with some green leaves from the Nara tree that had fallen into the stone pond, causing it to create tiny waves that moved like a sailing ship into the ocean, spying and observing living creatures, as it shows how living things survive, how it lives with flourish achievement of peace and happiness.
Until it became entangled in a large shale rock that had been placed in the pond on purpose as a chair, closer into someone chamber, where one person sleeps soundly on the bamboo bed with a white soft blanket.
It was a delicate grown man wearing a white clean fresh long sleeve that represented a cloud clan, with a broad shoulder, white silver long straight hair, white baby skin, and pinkish rosy lips.
His brows contorted in discomfort as the coldness of the swift wind passed through the room, invading his face, making him grunt in discomfort and fall into consciousness.
The man opened his eyes slowly, blinking for three seconds to remove the blurriness from his vision, until he came to see a different design and form of ceiling.
'Where...?' He groaned as he tried to take in the heavy sensation that his body was giving him, pulling himself up and sat at the bed, laying himself to the headboard with difficulty.
Emperor Fen's second son lingers his gaze around the room, his eyes tired and his face drained from the aftermath of forcibly taking control of his two cores within his body, until he realizes something.
This is not his appointed chamber! What happened? Who owns this chamber? What am I doing here? Why am I here?
Seeing a different structure and design of a bed room caused Wei to fully open his eyes in confusion and panic. The fatigue he felt inside his body had vanished like a lost wind.
The second prince of the Yao clan abruptly used his two hands to check something on his head as he remembered a very important object that his elder brother had given to him to cover his entire appearance from other people, eyes straight looking down to his lap, until he noticed that he was now wearing the cloud clan hanfu.
'What?' Wei breath hitch, someone had change his cloths? That mean's someone had already saw his full appearance! And the silk? Where's the silk?
Emperor Fen second son now felt scared and unsettled, he now nervously panting, his eyes wandered through every corner of the chamber and into the floor but still, no silk!
'Shit! Shit! SHIT! Where is it! Where did I lose it?'
Wei is now breathing with anxiety, worried covering his entire mind and trepidation embrace his heart as he tried to remember what had fully happened earlier, but instead of the memory of the earlier occurrence, what came through him is the headache, welcoming fatigue to enter inside his body again.
This caused Emperor Fen's second son to clench his teeth in pain and become irritated with his situation. He tried to ignore and snap away the gripping feeling of a headache by shaking his head a little, and it worked.
But his frustration grew as he considered the possibility that someone from the Cloud clan had already seen his full appearance.
Wei removed the blanket from around his waist, his face still pale and sweaty, as he tried to fight the vulnerable feeling inside his body by forcing himself to stand up from the bed without warning, shocking his veins and leaving him unable to support himself from standing straight for too long on the floor.
Which caused him to fall heavily into the floor and make a loud thud sound that echoed outside, alarming the person who stood guard outside the room, who immediately rush inside, opening the sliding door without hesitation only to see the person he was guarding on the floor groaning and panting in great difficulty as he saw this trying to push himself up again to stand up using his two shaking hands.
"Prince Wei!"
Hearing a familiar voice, Wei's eyes immediately adjusted and focused on the other person who was now assisting him in standing steadily while leading him back into the bed to lay his body back against the bed headboard.
"Oh, hahaha, it's Jui," Wei laughed out the pain and anger he was feeling inside, as he felt so useless right now, but seeing the person his father fully trusted gave him relief and less panic, and he just let the other person lead him back to the bed.
When he had finally settled down, Wei patted his father senior disciple on the shoulder with his right hand, which was now standing beside him, worriedly looking at him.
"Thank you, Jui," he said gratefully.
"Your highness, you must remain in bed for the time being as you are still unwell," Jui replied truthfully to his master's second son, causing Wei to be surprised by his words and laugh a little before giving him a grateful smile.
"That's right. I apologize, but I need to ask you a serious question," Wei responds, and Jui simply nods, his eyes becoming serious as well.
"Where are we at the moment? What exactly is this location? Who owns this room? Who has brought me here? Was it you? And did you see the silk, the silk I was holding before? I was using it to conceal my entire appearance from the cloud clan's members. Did you happen to notice where I put it?" The second prince of the Yao clan fully expresses all of the questions that he had been holding inside of him earlier as the other person standing beside him sighs and stares at him with a now calm face.
"In response to your first question, your highness. We are currently on Moju Mountain, which was the first and oldest peak used by the Cloud clan's diseases immortal masters. For the second question, this chamber has been assigned to you, and for the third, no, I am not the one who brought you here. It was brother Xichen, the first jade master of the cloud clan. Fourth, you no longer need the silk to cover yourself since my master letter has already been read by them all," Jui admitted truthfully, leaving Wei stunned for a moment before blinking in disbelief.
"What exactly are you saying?" He asks, his voice hindered by shock and confusion.
"Your father, the emperor, my master, had assigned me the task of delivering the letter he had written himself to master Woo or the first jade of the cloud clan before we left the Yao clan." Jui paused for a moment before continuing.
His face hardened as the second passed, his fists clenched nervously, his gaze now glued to the floor rather than his master's second son.
"I gave the letter to brother Xichen, and he told me that inside those letters contain everything about you and the reason for hiding you for many years," Jui responds without blinking, as if he already knows what their master second son's reaction will be after hearing it through him.
"Y-you mean they know everything already?" Wei stammers.
"Yes," Jui responds succinctly.
To be continued.
