Chapter 44

UNEXPLAINABLE FLAVOR

Wei had never felt pain like this before; he felt as if he were drowning in cold water as he couldn't breathe properly and his body was turning cold from the pain.

It made him shudder and feel weak on his knees, but he tried not to give in and forced himself to stand firm, even though he knew the other person's deep bite towards his neck was slowly draining his energy.

Emperor Fen son continued to whimper and hold his breath, feeling intense nervousness on the inside as he realized that if Wanji continued to bite deeply, the skin on his neck would be plucked out of him. Idiot! I swear I'll kill you as soon as I find a cha-ah! Fuck! It hurts!

Wei's eyes are now wide open, with tears streaming from his eyelids and sweat slightly taking over his body; he tried to make a sound with his mouth while pulling away the hand that was holding his mouth and waist with both hands, but this only caused Lan Zhan to bite deeper on his neck, causing him to moan in bitter pain. FUCK!

As he felt a new level of pain, Emperor Fen's second son tightly closed his eyes, frowning and trembling. Wei is now having difficulty thinking clearly as the pain spreads throughout his body, causing chills all over.

He was getting tired of protesting with his hands, so Wei used his last resource, his mouth, to bite the other person's hand that was covering his mouth, but Lan Zhan didn't even budge. He doesn't seem to be feeling anything.

The second son of the Yao clan couldn't help but grunt in frustration and decided to forcefully endure the pain helplessly for two minutes. His eyes still closed and tears of agony now flowing down his cheeks. This moron! I swear, I... Help... I can't...

The Yao clan prince began to feel anxiety all over his body, he couldn't bear the pain any longer, but Wei insisted on stomping on the other person's feet one last time, when suddenly he felt his both knees slowly losing will to stand up straight and he lost balance. Fuck!

He was about to fall to his knees, but Lan Zhan had already detected his abnormalities and was instantly holding him tight. Master Woo second grandson finally stopped biting the other person's neck, let go of Wei's mouth, and wrapped him tightly in his arms so he wouldn't fall to the floor.

Wanji gazed at the neck he had just bitten, proud and satisfied to see his creation deeply engraved into the person he loved, blood flowing like rain drops.

The second jade of the cloud clan stares sternly at his art for a moment before pulling his face closer to Wei's neck again and licking the blood that flows from the wound he created.

The warm wetness and roughness of the tongue skin immediately caused Emperor Fen's second son to shudder and whimper in distress.

"S-stop... don't bite. No more..." Wei pleaded in a hoarse and exhausted tone of voice, panting and gradually becoming sober from the pain.

He's afraid that if this idiot behind him bites his neck again, he won't be able to handle the pain and will lose consciousness.

Hearing his trembling voice, Lan Zhan felt as if he hadn't been in himself earlier, and a sudden realization caused his heart to clench in guilt as he now stared horrified at what he had just done to the person he was holding in his arms. Shit! What did I do? How could I...

He was stunned, Master Woo grandson gritted his teeth, drew his face into Wei's left shoulder, closed his eyes in repentance, and squeezed Wei's body into him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you; please forgive me," he says with regret in his voice.

Hearing him apologize, made Wei become fully sober and harshly pull away from him.

"Get out," he said calmly, but his anger was visible in his sentence; he was still not facing his childhood friend, which made Lan Zhan feel even guiltier inside.

"Wei, I..." He tried to approach Emperor Fen son again, but Wei turned around and stared at him coldly.

"This was the second time you harassed me; the first time, I was just going with the flow and tolerating it as I wanted to tease you, but right now, I don't think I could tolerate it; so tell me honestly why you keep harassing me and why you're here?"

Wei responds, firmly convincing himself to remain calm and first understand the person in front of him, as he believes that every action has a reason.

At least, that's what his parents have always told him to do: be fair and avoid jumping to conclusions before hearing both sides' perspectives.

But this person truly deserved to be verbally punished by him, but he couldn't bring himself to do so. He couldn't pinpoint the exact reason. It's vexing! It's all his fault! This idiot always made him lose his cool and his ability to think clearly at times.

"Does the second jade of the cloud clan remain dissatisfied with his wife's service, and so he has come to seek satisfaction through me?"

Emperor Fen's son continued to give Master Woo grandson a cold stare while sharply waiting for its response, but Lan Zhan only looks down at the floor.

As if in deep thought, and appears to be having difficulty keeping his thoughts straight, prompting Wei to sigh and look away from him to fully relieve his anger inside his heart.

The second prince of Yao clan took nearly a second to completely forget everything he felt inside, then looked back only to see his childhood friend looking helpless, he couldn't help but sigh deeply once more and completely ignore what had just happened.

It's pointless talking to this person right now; look at him; I believe his brain has completely left him. What a pity, forget it!

Emperor Fen's second son tiredly went to sit on his bed and silently observe Lan Zhan for one second before saying anything.

"Haiyo, Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan. If you can't tell me the reason, just say so. I'm not going to force you. But your bite is truly... Never mind. Can I bother you to go to that corner and get the first-aid kit to clean the wound you made on my neck?"

Lan Zhan looked at him for a moment in a daze after hearing his friendly and calm tone of voice before nodding and taking the ointment to the cabinet near the open window.
