A/N: Hi! 👋 If you're passing through and have read this chapter before July 25th 2023, I'd advise you to re-read it. I've added 1.6k words and made it extra spicy. Enjoy!

They reached the hut's front staircase and Leah turned to Jungkook with a soft smile, "You can go and celebrate, I'm going to bed."

He placed his hand on the wooden handrail, "Me too."

She pressed her lips but didn't say anything. She went up ahead and he followed and closed the door behind him.

"Why does it always surprise you?"

She went straight to the closet, "What does?"

"That I prefer to be here than at the party?"

She turned around with the cream in her hand and smiled placatingly when she noticed his frown.

"I don't know, you seem like the kind of person who is fun at parties," she shrugged, walking towards him.

He was in shorts the whole night, with his torso fully on display, yet only now was she absorbing the view. She should probably have other things on her mind, but now that they were away from everything and everyone, suddenly she was paying attention. His firm and soft skin was glowing and his tattooed sleeve and tonight's recent addition made him look mature, which contrasted nicely with his gentle expression. They rarely made out with the lights on, and never during daytime, so she had no idea what kind of expressions he could make. She didn't know what he looked like when they kissed, when she touched him, when he lost himself in the moment. She was curious. That night, she was curious about many things about him.

"I actually don't like parties," he answered in a low tone.

Just as she was observing him, he was doing the same. He remembered how seeing her in a red dress had left him breathless, but now it was different. Before, it was the hint at her curves, at the softness of her skin and its warmth. He now knew what it felt to touch its smoothness and to feel her curves. Just thinking about it ignited something deep in him, and that heat reached his cheeks. But he had never actually seen her in a bikini before. It was nice to give an image to all those sensations. And now there was something else, something more. Her water lily was beautifully traced and it was as delicate as she was. From that angle, what actually showed the most were the stems loosely trying to reach all of her from their origin point. As she moved, he could swear they moved too.

She restarted walking to reach him and he leaned on the kitchen counter behind him, supporting his elbows nonchalantly. She was smiling lightly, but something in him prevented him from being relaxed. He absorbed the way she moved like she was water and he was dying of thirst, and he wetted his lips slowly when she placed the cream on the counter next to the gauze and ointment. He didn't budge while she spread the cream on his right arm.

"Why not?"

He blinked. Her fingers on his skin were hypnotizing him as usual and it took him a second to remember what they were talking about.

"Because it's so loud and crowded and chaotic. I prefer to have a nice conversation in a quiet place," he added, raising his eyes to her features.

Normally he would have preferred to be completely alone or with his people, like family or the members. Being there with her felt just as comfortable, or even better. The corners of her lips twitched in a smile. Damn, she was beautiful, his heart was now racing in his chest.

"Is this a nice conversation?" Her tone was low and he felt a shiver down his spine.

He stopped her hand, which made her look up at him. He was flustered and it sounded like he was calming his breathing; his eyes were shining when they locked with hers. Teasing him was fun, she couldn't help herself.
