Namjoon and Ella quieted down when they saw Leah near them.
She sat on the chair beside Namjoon and took a deep breath, "He fell asleep in the second room, I hope that's okay."
Ella nodded, "Not a problem."
"How is he?" Namjoon sounded worried.
"He's fine, I think. He's a strong guy, it took him this long to fully succumb to that shot's secondary effects."
Ella nodded, "I keep saying their physical condition is outstanding."
"I don't doubt that for a second," Leah nodded.
Namjoon smiled with the compliment, but in the back of his mind, he wondered what had happened that made Leah so sure of that.
She leaned forward, "So, poison ivy. That's the one with the three leaves, right?"
Ella nodded, "Yes, toothed or smooth edges."
"Pointed tips," Leah completed with a sigh.
"They're very common, right?" Namjoon asked, thinking back to his childhood.
"Yes, which leads me to think how he never found out he was allergic before."
"Well, he comes from a city by the sea," Leah said, making Namjoon look at her in veiled shock. "So maybe he never played in forests as a kid."
"Probably," he said, wanting to divert the conversation. "Are you allergic?"
"No, I don't think so. Well, it's poisonous to everybody, but my reaction is normal," she clarified. Then she thought about what Jungkook had said previously. "His skin was feeling tight after washing it, do you have anything he could use to help?"
Ella pressed her lips, "Not really, I'm low on everything. The little I have I need to save for a bad burn case."
Leah puffed, "Well... maybe there's a soothing cream we can make? With chamomile or lavender or something like that?"
"Well, yes." Ella smiled, "Let's go look in my garden, I grow some plants with medicinal properties." She got up and so did Leah, eager to check it out. Ella turned to Namjoon, "Can you keep an eye on Jungkook? Let him sleep, but if his breathing sounds abnormal, come and get us. We'll be right around the corner, in the garden."
He nodded and got up to get to Jungkook's room. He saw them leave before wandering in. Jungkook was lying belly up completely buried in white with his left arm over his eyes. He was snoring quietly, which made the oldest smile since that was pretty normal when his sleep was sound. He pushed the chair to sit beside him.
Out of everything that could have happened, an allergy. To think that something so trivial could leave someone so strong like Jungkook in bed. He sighed, happy to see his dongsaeng safe.

Leah was very happy to learn about some of the plants Ella kept in her garden. Both quickly noticed Leah had an understanding of their characteristics — she could observe the smallest detail and immediately deduce if two plants were closely related or not, or if they could work the same way. Likewise, when Ella started explaining medical uses, she never had to go too far because Leah would almost always surmise it or seemingly remember how they could be used. Ella thought it was daunting and even commented how she must have a deep interest in medicinal plants.
"Maybe you have a garden yourself," she said with a smile.
When they reached a certain yellow flower, Leah recognized it immediately. It was the flower the soap and shampoo were made from. Ella told her about the drying process of the flowers, which could then be used as a perfume in products. Other flowers could be handled the same way to then be used as tea to help manage the inflammation.
