"Try and get some sleep, we'll sort things out tomorrow with the group" Soonyoung said while Seungkwan and Chan got comfortable in their makeshift beds. Vernon gave him a nod of gratitude before laying down. Soonyoung's eyes found Y/n's as he looked down at her, she observed him silently and although they were still strangers she found a strange sense of comfort in his eyes. His gaze lingered on her for a few moments before turning around at the sound of the warehouse door being opened and shut.

He turned to see Wonwoo walking across the warehouse with his head down and hands in his pockets, his glasses fogged up from the cold air outside. Soonyoung sighed and started walking towards him. Y/n continued to watch him silently. They were talking to one another but she couldn't make out what they were saying from that distance. Soonyoung was clearly arguing with or scolding the taller boy. Wonwoo pushed him away and walked away visibly irritated. The shorter of the two watched him walk away and rubbed his hands over his face in annoyance.

She tore her eyes away from the commotion when Vernon pulled on her arm.
"C'mon you need to sleep, lay down" he said his voice groggy and tired. She lightly smiled at him and nodded as she laid back and pulled an old blanket over her shoulders. Vernon brushed his hand down the back of her hair,
"Goodnight Y/n" he said quietly before turning around and falling asleep. She mumbled an incoherent 'goodnight' back before closing her own eyes and falling asleep.

Y/n was the last to wake up the next morning, she sat up and rubbed her eyes, the light coming in through the cracks in the glass shining too brightly for her liking. She looked around and noticed the others weren't next to her. Panic shot through her as she whipped her head around to look for them. Relief washed over her as she saw them gathered around a table with a few of the boys they met the day before.

She walked over to the group huddled around the table, a few of their eyes lifting to greet her.
"Morning princess, get enough beauty sleep?" Mingyu said earning a snicker from Seokmin and a slap to the shoulder from Jihoon. Vernon turned around and smiled at her. She gave an awkward smile back, feeling embarrassed by all the eyes that were on her. She looked down at the table to see a map of the city sprawled out, covered in writing and markings.

"As I was saying, this is a map of Seoul and the surrounding areas, the places that are marked red on the map are areas that are infested with zombies, the areas marked green are the places we've raided and already swept through, and the blue markings are areas we haven't yet explored" Jihoon explained as he pointed to each part of the map. Most of the map was either blue or red with very little of it marked green.

Y/n looked around noticed there were only five of them at the table, Seokmin, Mingyu, Jihoon, Vernon and herself. She looked around and noticed Seungkwan and Chan sitting on a couch across from Junhui and Minghao chatting and laughing with one another. She smiled to herself at the fact they were getting along with the others.

"Because you're technically apart of our group now you all need to pull your weight around here, we already have a team that goes on runs and looks for resources and supplies, while also exploring the blue areas on the map, which is everyone at this table minus Soonyoung" Jihoon paused and looked at Vernon.
"You'll probably be apart of this team from now on and we'll give roles that are best suited to the rest of your group" he said shifting his eyes over to Y/n. She narrowed her eyes at him,
"I want to help with this stuff too" she said firmly.
Mingyu stifled a laugh,
"You can't be serious, we're not letting a little girl join our team, you can stay here with Junhui and Minghao and your other friends while we do the important work" he said sending her a wink. She scoffed and looked over to Vernon hoping he would defend her.

"you would be safer if you stayed here, and you would have Seungkwan and Chan with you.." he mumbled. Her face dropped and she gave him a hurt look. Y/n looked at Jihoon,
"isn't Soonyoung the one in charge around here? where is he?" she asked annoyed. As if on command he walked out of nowhere and came to the table.
"What's going on?" he asked, sleep lacing his voice, purple bags were under his eyes indicating a lack of sleep.
"Princess over here wants to join our team" Mingyu said as he leaned on the table with his elbows. Y/n glared at him before giving her attention to Hoshi. He studied her and shrugged,
"we're leaving soon so she can come today if she wants, if she slows us down or gets herself in trouble she won't be coming again and she can be apart of the tech team or the med team, is that okay with everyone?" he asked, not really caring whether everyone agreed or not.
