Everyone's attention was brought to the door of the warehouse when it was slowly pushed open. Soonyoung was the first to walk in, his face expressionless and his attitude the same as it always was. They were all instantly concerned when they saw Seokmin and Y/n come through the door, blood covering Seokmin's shirt and blood all over Y/n's hands and body. Minghao rushed over to them with Seungkwan close behind him.
"what happened to you guys? are you hurt?" Minghao asked as he tried to see where the bleeding was coming from. Seokmin pushed Minghao away,
"it's not ours, we're fine" he said somewhat sadly, remembering where the blood came from.

Y/n reassured Seungkwan and Chan she was okay after their constant pestering about what happened while she was gone and slipped outside. She leaned against the wall on the side of building and slid down it. Her eyes stared down at her hands that were tainted red. Tears brimmed at her eyes as she violently rubbed at her hands, desperate to rid them of that poor man's blood. She let out strangled sobs and let her head fall between her knees which she had brought up to her chest.

As the girl sobbed silently to herself, someone sat next to her. They gently nudged her arm and when she looked up they took one of her hands in theirs, using an alcohol wipe to clean her palm and fingers. She wiped her eyes and stared at the male next to her,
"I thought you hated me.." she sniffled, a few tears still sliding down her face.
"I did" he paused for few seconds and focused on wiping the blood of her hand.
"It would be wrong of me to hate and ignore someone so vulnerable and downcast" Wonwoo said, his eyes and his voice genuine. He took her other hand once he was done with the first. Her eyes softened at him. He was human just like the rest of them and had every right to be upset when they barged into their group, when they threatened the safety of the people he cared about.

"we don't know when our last day will be so we need to protect each other" he said while pushing his glasses up so they don't fall from his face.
"it's hard for all of us, but it's harder for some more than others, especially Soonyoung, he's always the one that takes the gun and shoots when the rest of us don't have the heart too, he does it to protect us but it takes its toll on him, he doesn't show it but it's eating him alive..." he paused and looked up at the girl in front of him,
"he has a soft spot for you...he's the type of person that wants to protect everyone around him so make it easier for him and stay out of trouble okay?" he said, earning a small nod from Y/n. He finished cleaning her other hand and stood up, he gave her a small and barely noticeable smile and walked back into the warehouse.

She sat there in silence for a while, listening to her own thoughts and replaying what Wonwoo said to her back in her mind. She felt sorry for Soonyoung, she knew he did what he had to but having to carry the burden of killing so many people would be enough of a reason to go insane. How he's able to lead the group and protect them daily is beyond her. He's stronger than her that's for sure.

Once she gathered her composure she made her way back into the warehouse. She noticed most of the guys gathered around Junhui at the computers.
"Y/n get your ass over here, you'll want to see this" Mingyu called from across the room. Junhui spun around in his chair to face her once she made her way over to him. On the computer was a very basic map of the city, within the city there were small blue circles in random areas of the city.
"what am i looking at?" she asked confused, not knowing what was so interesting about what was on the screen.
"I was able to hack into the few remaining cell towers across the city that actually work, the blue circles that you can see are cellphones that have been pinged in the last 24 hours, that means we can track cellphone activity every few hours and it also means that unless the zombies have learned to use cellphones that these are the locations of other survivors" he said, looking at Y/n for her response.
Her eyes sparkled with hope and she leaned forward to gain a closer view of the computers. Her hope was quickly diminished,
"Seungcheol doesn't have his phone on him, i found it in our house when this all first started and he was nowhere to be seen..." she sighed.

"Even if he doesn't have his phone, if he's still alive, which i'm sure he is... he's most likely with other people, having this information only helps us and it gives us more of a chance of finding your brother Y/n" Minghao spoke up from next to her, trying to reassure her.
"you're right..." she said, a small but hopeful smile returning to her face. She might be able to finally find her brother.
