"c-cheol?" a small and weak voice spoke up from the door of the warehouse. Seungcheol immediately loosened his grip on Soonyoung's collar and turned around. His face softened as soon his eyes landed on his little sister. Her clothes were ripped and tattered, her face covered in blood and her body was shaking, either because she was cold, scared or both. She tried to hide her limp and stepped forward, wincing as she put pressure on her leg. Within seconds Seungcheol had run up to her and pulled her into a hug. She instantly wrapped her arms around her brother and let herself cry into his chest.
"I missed you so much" she choked out between sobs, tightening her arms around him, scared that if she let go he would disappear.
"I missed you too, I'm so glad you're okay.." he mumbled into her hair, tears brimming at his eyes.

She wasn't okay, she was far from it but she didn't want him to know that. She didn't want him to have to worry about her when they only just found each other after so long for searching for one another.

Everyone was happy for Y/n. They knew how much it meant for her to finally find her brother but they couldn't help but be cautious around Seungcheol. Joshua volunteered to show Jeonghan and Seungcheol around the warehouse, everyone else being too intimidated to talk to Seungcheol after what happened between him and Soonyoung. Y/n quietly slipped away from everyone and walked up to the sleeping area. She limped to the back where they kept their spare clothes and tried to find something to wear considering her shirt was now torn apart and her jacket was the only thing covering the upper half of her body. She jumped when she heard the floor creek behind her.

"sorry I didn't mean to scare you" Soonyoung apologised,
"I just wanted to see if you were okay... I didn't want to come up to you when you're brother was around...I don't think he likes me" he awkwardly laughed as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"You look like you've been through a lot...i'm sorry, i should have helped you or at least tried to follow you..." he mumbled. Y/n remained quiet and stared at him with watery eyes.
"I..." she started, her voice cracking and the tears in her eyes falling down her face.
"I..ki-killed some..one" she cried, wanting to confide in someone, someone that might be able to understand how she felt. Soonyoung rushed over to her when she dropped to her knees, sobbing into her hands. He took her hands in his and noticed they were covered in dried blood as well as her face.

"what happened?" he asked, his voice gentle, not wanting to upset her more.
"he was t-trying to do things to me..." she sniffled.
"i was so scared...I...I didn't know what to do...he was holding me down and I just..." she stopped, struggling to recount what happened. Soonyoung clenched his jaw, wishing he was the one to kill him. He wished he was there to stop that from happening, but he wasn't. He knew the toll killing someone can take on your mind and now Y/n has to deal with that turmoil and he couldn't help but blame himself.
"it's okay...you don't need to explain anymore..i'm so sorry, you're safe now i promise" he comforted, pulling her into a hug and letting her cry into his shoulder.

After crying into his shoulder for a while, Y/n calmed down and wiped her tears from her face, smudging the dried blood on her face.
"let's get you cleaned up and into clean clothes okay? It'll make you feel better" he said as he helped her to her feet. She groaned in pain when she stood on both feet. Soonyoung gave her a concerned look,
"what's wrong? are you hurt?". She immediately shook her head,
"i'm okay i just sprained my ankle it's not anything serious" she lied with a convincing smile on her face, scared that if anyone found out about her leg, they would force her to leave or worse.

Soonyoung nodded and grabbed a shirt from the back that she could change into. She took off her jacket slowly, her head feeling light again and fatigue washing over her body. Soonyoung noticed and helped her remove the remaining parts of her torn shirt. A light blush tinted her cheeks at the close proximity of the male in front of her. It wasn't a sexual act of him removing her shirt but she couldn't help but feel shy and vulnerable in front of him. He pulled a baggy t-shirt over her head and gave her a soft smile, making her heart beat a little faster than normal.
