🧪Thirty four🦠

Seungcheol had lifted his sister into his arms, quickly carrying her to the closest building they could fine, which conveniently, was a small grocery store. Everyone filed inside, some members of the group staying at the front of the store making sure nothing else came in, others making a quick lap around the store to make sure it was safe. While this was happening, Minghao instructed Soonyoung and Vernon to clear off a nearby table. They rushed over to it and feverishly pushed everything that was on the table onto the floor. Seungcheol immediately laid Y/n carefully onto the table.

He paced back and forth anxiously as he watched Minghao scurry around the store, filling his hands with what seemed like random items. He came back to the table with some fishing wire, a bottle of alcohol and a few other things.

Y/n started to stir on the table and groaned in pain as her eyes opened, staying half lidded.
"what are you going to do????" Vernon asked anxiously. Minghao didn't look up, instead he focused on getting everything ready,
"We need to disinfect and stitch up the wound" he said. Before he poured some of the alcohol onto the girls leg he grabbed a thick cloth and handed it Vernon. He gave him a confused look,
"She's going to need something to bite down on because this is going to hurt...a lot" he warned. The younger boy only nodded and put the cloth gently into her mouth. She looked at him with teary eyes and grabbed tightly onto his hand.

It was hard for Y/n to stay conscious but as soon as she felt the acidic liquid hit her leg, her eyes widened and she bit down harshly on the cloth in her mouth. Vernon whined in pain as well at how tight she was squeezing his hand. Minghao doused the fishing wire in the same alcohol and sucked in a shaky breath, trying to steady his own nerves as he brought the sharp wire up to her leg. He punctured her leg where the beginning of the wound started. She writhed in pain and screamed, her voice muffled by the fabric in her mouth. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head and her back arched off the table, her grip so tight on Vernon's hand that he was worried she was going to break it. Tears rolled down the sides of her face as she continued to scream and cry as Minghao carefully sewed her wound up. Her head started to feel light again and her head rolled to the side as she passed out again. Vernon panicked as he watched her body go limp and slapped her face a few times. He gave Minghao a worried glance and the elder only continued stitching up her leg, finding it a lot easier now that she wasn't moving around so much.
"She'll be fine, she needs to rest anyway" he reassured, allowing the other males in the room to relax slightly.

Y/n had finally opened her eyes after a while of being unconscious. She looked up and noticed a wooden ceiling. She was extremely disoriented as she looked around and slightly sat up, groaning in pain as she did so. Her groaning caught the attention of the boys around her.
"You're awake!!!" Joshua exclaimed as he rushed over to her, helping her sit up. He brushed the hair that was stuck to her sweaty forehead behind her ears,
"we were all really worried about you.." he mumbled as he looked down, remembering how scared he felt when he saw her lying unconscious on the ground. She looked around at the other males that were in the room, only just realising that they were in a small cabin. She guessed they had finally made it the place her brother was talking about but instantly felt bad when she realised one of them must have carried her the whole way.

"Why didn't you tell anyone you were hurt?" Seungcheol asked as he approached her, his eyebrows furrowed but his face soft. She turned her head away from him,
"I was scared...I didn't want anyone to worry" she muttered, her voice barely audible.
"Worry?! Y/n you could have fucking died!" Soonyoung yelled as he stepped forward. He brushed his hands through his hair as he breathed deeply,
"I-..We can't lose you..okay? so don't be so stupid and ask for help next time before you're on the brink of bloody death".  His voice was shaky as if he was trying not to cry. He didn't want to break down in front of her, in front of anyone, but it felt like he was loosing everything and it was creating cracks in the walls he tried to hard to build up.

She let herself break down, her composure slipping away.
"I-I'm sorr..y, I didn't mean to be a burden.. i'm so sorry" she sobbed. Soonyoung instantly felt bad, he didn't mean to make her cry, he was just worried and didn't want to see her like that again. His heart cracked at the sight of her crying yet couldn't bring himself to comfort her. He wanted to pull her into his arms and wipe her tears away but he didn't, instead he watched as Joshua hugged her tightly as she cried into his chest.
