Y/n was sat between Seokmin and Mingyu, watching as Chan and Seungkwan were trying to get Seungcheol to talk to the others so he could get to know them. Seungcheol was stubborn but eventually let the younger boys drag him over to Minghao, Jun and Wonwoo who were congregated at the computers, Wonwoo and Jun were actually trying to get things done whereas Minghao was spinning around on one of the wheely chairs. Joshua and Jeonghan were attached by the hip, clearly having missed each other a lot while they were separated, and followed behind Seungcheol wherever he went.

Seungcheol looked back at his sister and gave her a pleading look as if to say 'help me' as he was dragged away by Chan. She smiled and shook her head, waving him off so he could talk to everyone else, knowing he would get along with them if he gave them a chance.

"We were really worried about you" Mingyu said randomly, taking her hand in his and squeezing it, moving his thumb in a circle on the top of her hand. She blushed lightly and smiled at him,
"you don't need to worry about me, I can take care of myself, I'm tough" she replied, playfully hitting his arm. She thought he would laugh but he only gave her a sad smile in return.
"Sometimes it's okay to let other people take care of you" he muttered.
"He's right.." Seokmin spoke up, Y/n almost forgetting he was there, distracted by the look Mingyu was giving her.
"We were really scared when you weren't here when we got back, we know you can look after yourself but we couldn't help but think the worst.." he mumbled sadly.

"It's heart warming knowing that you both care for me so much" she joked, trying to lighten the mood. Since she got back, everyone had been treating her as if she would break if they looked at her the wrong way, they all looked at her as if she died and came back to life and she didn't like it. She wanted them to treat her how they did before, when they were playful and weren't so serious and solemn. Mingyu let out a chuckle,
"you don't like when people get serious and sentimental do you?" he asked rhetorically causing Y/n to nod in agreement, glad they moved on from their previous conversation.

Y/n smiled when she noticed her brother getting along with some of the others. Her smile faded slowly when she couldn't ignore the unbearable pain coming from her leg anymore. Her leg felt hot and it throbbed constantly. Her vision blurred slightly and her body started to sweat, her head pounding. She mumbled incoherent words at Seokmin and Mingyu as she got up, trying to tell them she would be back. They gave each other a confused glance and shrugged it off.

She tried her best to hide her limp as she made her way over to the first aid station. She looked over at Minghao, relieved when she saw he was distracted and not giving her any attention. She quickly took a bottle of pain killers and some opioids, knowing she needed something strong to be able to ignore the pain. She found her bag that she threw on the floor earlier and walked over to the warehouses crappy little bathroom that only had a small sink which had a cracked mirror above it and a dirty toilet. She brushed off everyone's side eyes by saying she had female problems she needed to take care of, no one questioning her after that.

She closed the door behind her and locked it. She sat on the edge of the toilet and pulled up her pant leg. The bandage she had wrapped around her leg was soaked in blood. She wanted to cry when she took off the bandage, having déjà vu from when she was in the hospital. The wound was starting to become slightly discoloured which made her worried. She pushed her concern to the side and went through the same process of cleaning it as she did before, taking a bottle of saline out of bag and a few more clean bandages. She struggled to look at her leg as she wrapped it tightly, the sight making her feel ill. Sweat dripped down her forehead and she felt her throat tighten, quickly rushing to lean over the sink, throwing up into it. Tears welled in her eyes at the acidic feeling in the back of her throat and the taste of bile in her mouth.

She took a bottle of water out of her bag and swished the water around in her mouth. Once she got the disgusting taste out of her mouth, she grabbed the bottle that the painkillers were in and opened it. She put a few in her hand and shoved them into her mouth, swallowing them as she took another sip of her water. She then looked down and noticed blood on the floor as well as her old bloody bandages. She panicked, knowing if she didn't clean up properly the boys would know something was wrong. She grabbed the bandages and wiped the blood off the floor and opened the toilets cistern, shoving everything inside of it. It's not like the toilet flushed anymore anyway.

Before she left the bathroom, she rested her head against the door, her hand holding onto the door handle. What if she was infected? She would be risking their safety and all of their lives. But if she was infected wouldn't she have turned by now? But she didn't know how long it would take for a person to turn anyway. If she's not infected, shouldn't she tell someone like Minghao about her leg so he could tend to her wound properly? But what if they all thought she was infected when she wasn't and tried to make her leave or kill her? She ultimately decided not to tell anyone, if she did end up being infected she would kill herself before she could turn, and if she wasn't infected then she would be fine. Right?
