Vernon and Jihoon had been walking for a while until they found a small chemist tucked away inside of the mall. They started filling their bags with anything they thought they might need such as bandages, face masks and medication. There was a locked gate at the back of the chemist restricting access to the prescription and higher dose medications. Jihoon found a metal bar lying on the ground and carefully propped open the gate, wide enough to slide through. Vernon looked around before following him through the gap. The smaller of the two had already started emptying the shelves. Vernon stared at one of the shelves and hesitated, different types of opioids covered the shelf. He thought for a moment and shrugged, "you never know..." he mumbled to himself before taking a few different boxes and pill bottles.

"Were you and your brother close?" Seokmin asked as the pair wandered around the shopping mall.
"Yeah we were, I mean we constantly argued and would always drive each other insane but the arguments wouldn't last more than 5 minutes, we would usually make up by playing video games together or he would take me to the mall to get ice cream" she smiled at the thought of Seungcheol begging her to forgive him while he bought her whatever she wanted. The boy next to her gave her a sad smile,
"i hope you find him" he said, causing her to give him a soft but grateful smile,
"yeah me too."

Seokmin suddenly grabbed Y/n's arm and stopped her from walking. She turned around and went to say something but he held his hand up to his mouth telling her to be quiet. She followed his gaze in the distance and noticed a figure crouched down over what seemed to be a body on the floor. The figure was scratching and pulling apart the body underneath it, ripping out the bodies intestines and eating it, blood pouring out everywhere. Y/n had to put her hand over her mouth to stop herself from puking. Seokmin started to slowly step backwards away from the gruesome scene, his hand around Y/n's wrist, pulling her back with him. Before they took another step, another zombie sprinted towards the one devouring the body. It tackled it to the ground and dived towards the body on the ground beginning to have its share. After a few more seconds more and more zombies began crowding around the body.

Sweat dripped from Seokmin's forehead as he watched in fear, not knowing what to do, his face was pale and his body frozen. Y/n looked at him and lost all hope when she saw his face. We're going to die, I'm about to be torn apart and eaten and left to rot she thought. "We need to run, we can't keep standing here or they'll notice us" Seokmin finally said in a hushed whisper. Y/n's eyes widened,
"they'll definitely notice us if we run" she said, her voice strained. At this point there were around 10 of them huddled over the body.
"When I say go we need to run" he said, his eyes fixed on the group in the distance. As he was looking he noticed one of the zombies stand up straight, it stood still for a few seconds before slowly turning around and looking directly at them. It snarled and growled loudly, catching the attention of the others around it. By now all of them had noticed the pair.
"fuck fuck fuck" Y/n repeated as her nerves spiked. Seokmin pulled on her arm harshly and started running. She didn't hesitate to start running with him, with 10 hungry zombies running after them.

"What happened to keeping me safe you fucking liar!!!!" Y/n shouted as she ran behind him.
"You're not dead yet!!! so shut up and run!" he yelled back as he abruptly turned a corner. Y/n stumbled a bit and quickly followed him, the group behind them gaining distance on them. As they turned another corner they noticed the rest of their group waiting near the entrance. Mingyu noticed them and went to wave at them before slowly bringing his hand back down.
"why are they runni-"
"RUN!" Seokmin and Y/n screamed in unison. The group then noticed the cannibals sprinting behind them.
"oh shit..." Jihoon said before they all started running towards the door. Except this time the door didn't slide open for them like it did when they came in.
