"oh my god is that Joshua?!" Seungkwan yelled as he sprung up from the couch when he saw the group walk through the door with the familiar boy. Chan's ears perked up at the name and he followed Seungkwan excitedly.

That night was a good one, Y/n was happy. She now knew for sure that her brother was out there somewhere, alive and looking for her. She watched as Seungkwan and Chan introduced Joshua to everyone in the group, the american becoming shy and rubbing the back of his head as the younger boys praised him and talked highly of him to the others. She noticed Wonwoo quietly studying him from afar, she knew by the look on his face that he didn't appreciate another new person being added to the group but he kept to himself.

Y/n sat herself between Junhui and Minghao,
"i'm exhausted" she huffed, resting her head on Jun's shoulder. Minghao hummed,
"we rarely see you anymore, you're out everyday from morning till the late afternoon, i would be exhausted too if i had to go out there everyday" . Y/n gave a sad smile, realising she hasn't been able to spend as much time with the others as much, she can't remember the last time she had a full conversation with any of them.
"How about you take a break for a while? spend a few days with us, I can teach you some tech stuff" Jun suggested.
"Maybe, i'm just so close to finding Cheol, and now that Shua is here we have an even bigger chance of finding him.." she replied, lifting her head from Jun's shoulder.

"you're not going to find him if you exhaust yourself Y/n, one or two days won't hurt" Minghao added, finally convincing the younger girl to take a break. She sighed in defeat and smiled,
"you guys take such good care of meeee" she said as she linked her arms between both boys elbows bringing them in for a hug. Minghao ruffled the top of her head, disconnecting their arms,
"alright now go get some rest, you need it, those bags under your eyes aren't going to cure themselves" he instructed earning a short nod from her and a quick goodbye as she left the two boys on the couch.

She made her way up to their sleeping area where she was greeted by Soonyoung who looked like he was about to go back downstairs.
"you're up here early" he noticed, it being unusual for the girl to sleep earlier than everyone else. She sat down cross legged on one of the mattresses, flicking her shoes off and crawling on her knees to place them at the end of the 'bed'.
"I've been prescribed some sleep from the doctor" she joked, earning a small chuckle from the white haired male. She pat the mattress next to her,
"you should get some rest too, i don't think i've seen you sleep in weeks" she said, trying to remember the last time she saw Soonyoung actually sleep.

He reluctantly sat down next to her, not planning on getting any rest, once she would fall asleep he would go back downstairs.
"you know...you don't have to be so serious around me" she said as she fell back onto the mattress. He looked down at her and furrowed his eyebrows.
"i'm not" he replied, slightly offended. She scoffed and made eye contact with him,
"yes you are, even now you're tense" she poked his arm,
"i want to see the real you, i know you have a little bit of a weird and crazy side to you and i want to see that" she paused and looked away from him.
"I know it's hard on you, always being the one having to protect everyone, to lead everyone and to be the one that has to pull the trigger...but it doesn't have to be hard anymore, let us help you, we can all protect ourselves, well most of us anyway, and we want to be able to protect you as well..." she finished, her eyes searching his face for some sort of a reaction.

He gave her genuine smile,
"i know you can look after yourself, trust me i know, you're scary when you want to be" he laughed, inching away from her dramatically. She whacked his shoulder and he fell back onto the mattress clutching his arm. She rolled her eyes,
"tst you're such a baby, these muscles of yours are nothing but a cover up" she sighed, grabbing his arm and shaking it sadly. He gave her an offended look,
"okay time for you to sleep, you're becoming delusional" he said as he went to get up. She whined in protest and pulled him back down, straddling him so he couldn't get back up.
"you need to sleep as well so sleep with me, you can be the little spoon if you want" she laughed, hugging him from behind.
"okay okay fine, i'm not being the little spoon though, sleep on your own side" he said, attempting to untangle her from his body.
