Y/n sat with her legs crossed on the roof of the warehouse, allowing the cool night breeze to flow through her hair and brush her face. Her eyes were closed and her head was titled slightly towards the sky. On nights like these, where the wind wasn't too cold and the sky was clear, she was able to calm her mind and sort through the thoughts that raced through her head during the day.

She opened her eyes and sighed, not being able to rid her mind of the imagine of a bullet going through the males head whom she shot, his body falling to the ground and blood pooling on the hospital floor. Every time she closed her eyes, she would see it. Over and over again. It was haunting her, very quickly becoming insufferable. The feel of his hands on her body and the sting of his tongue on her skin still lingered, making her shiver in disgust. She hated what the world had become and wished everyday that it was some sort of twisted dream that she could wake up from.

"Vernon said I would be able to find you up here" her brothers voice came from behind her. She didn't turn around and waited for him to sit beside her.
"Are you okay? you've being acting different" he asked. She raised her brows at him,
"Well the last time we saw each other there weren't human eating zombies trying to kill us every two seconds so I would say change in character is inevitable in this kind of climate" she replied. He scoffed and shook his head with a grin on his face,
"I definitely haven't missed your sarcasm". A barely noticeable smile brushed her face as she looked down at her lap, her eyes taking a short glance at her injured leg, the smile leaving her lips as quick as it appeared.

"I know we haven't seen in each other in a while but you're still my annoying little sister and I can tell when somethings wrong, I also overheard some of the others saying that you were acting off, so do you want to tell me what's happening?" he asked, turning his body to face her. She looked at her leg for a few seconds, contemplating whether she should tell her brother about it or not. She pushed the thought aside and decided to confide in him about the other issue eating away at her mind.
"Since all of this end of the world stuff has happened, have you killed anyone?" she questioned, her voice meek.

He thought for a few seconds before answering,
"Yeah, I mean it's inevitable right? although I wouldn't consider them to be actual people anymore" he answered. Y/n bit her lip nervously, her brother obviously not understanding what she meant.
"I don't mean killing the zombies" she hesitated and looked at her brother who was staring at her in anticipation.
"I mean killing actual living, breathing people, just like you and I" she finished. He let out a 'oh' in realisation to what she meant and shook his head.
"No I haven't, have you?" he asked slowly. She looked away from him,
"Only once, he was attacking me and I pulled out my gun and shot him through the head, I try to tell myself that I didn't mean it but deep down I know I wanted to kill him, he was a horrible person and he deserved it but no matter how much I tell myself that, I can't get the image of his dead body out of my head, Im scared to close my eyes for more than a few seconds because I don't want to relive it. My hands won't stop shaking and sometimes I feel like I'm back there again and I can't escape it..." she spoke quickly, avoiding looking back at her brother, scared he would have a disgusted and disappointed look on his face.

"Y/n...you did what you had to in order to protect yourself, the worlds different now and what you did doesn't make you a bad person, does anyone else know about what happened?" he asked. She relaxed slightly when he tried to reassure her rather than disown her.
"Only Soonyoung...he's the only one I thought would understand how I feel" she replied. Seungcheol stayed silent and only nodded slowly as a reply.
"Cheol I know you don't like him... but he's a good person, he does a lot for all of us and tries his best to protect us, it wasn't his fault that we got separated, it wasn't anyone's fault so please don't take it out on him, he's been through enough as it is and he's offering you and Jeonghan a place to stay regardless of how you treated him" she broke the silence, giving her brother pleading eyes.

He nodded and looked down, guilt evident on his face.
"I know, I'm sorry I didn't mean to make things harder for you I just wanted to protect you and make sure you were okay..I'll apologise to him later if that makes you feel better?" he asked. She smiled,
"it would, thank you". He pulled her into a hug,
"I love you idiot" he said, ruffling the top of her head. She groaned and pulled away from the hug, a smile on her face,
"I love you too".
