Y/n was walking through the forest on her own. The trees loomed over her and the clouds and sky above her were dark and gloomy letting her know it was going to rain soon. She noticed a tall figure standing a few metres in front of her, facing away from her. She immediately noticed the familiar jacket they were wearing. She wanted to step forward but she was frozen, unable to move.

"Seungcheol!" she called out to him. He slowly turned around, his face emotionless and cold. He stepped towards her, she reached her arms out to him in return. He stopped in front of her and she reached her hands up to his face. She felt his face and his hair, her eyes glistening with tears as she realised her brother was right in front of her. Rain started pouring down onto both of them, water running down both of their faces. Thunder crashed and his eyes went dark. Y/n watched in horror as blood dripped from her brothers now pitch black eyes, his face drooping and contorting into something that wasn't human. She felt a gun in her hand, her arm raising to aim the gun at his head. She didn't know what was happening, she couldn't stop herself from what she was doing. She could feel her finger tighten on the trigger and tears poured from her eyes,
"no!" she screamed as her finger pulled the trigger.

Vernon and a few others ran into the room after hearing the girl scream. She woke up covered in sweat and tears streaming down her puffy cheeks. Vernon instantly rushed over to comfort her, cradling her head near his chest and brushing her hair down with his hand.
"it's okay, you're okay, it was just a bad dream" he soothed. He cupped her face and wiped her tears away, tilting her head up so she was looking at him.
"you're okay, it's not real.." he said. She finally calmed down in his arms and looked around at everyone staring at her, beginning to feel embarrassed.

Half an hour later, the supply team were getting ready to leave. Y/n lifted her backpack over her shoulders and tightened the straps.
"Are you sure you want to come today?" Jihoon asked, giving her an unsure glance. She quickly brushed off his concern,
"yeah im fine, it was just a bad dream that's all" she shrugged. Jihoon nodded and gave the others a look as if to say "keep an eye on her".
"Alright well let's get going then" he said as he led the group out of the warehouse.

Y/n was quieter than usual and kept to herself for most of the day. Seokmin nudged her arm,
"are you okay? you've been really quiet today" he asked, concern evident in his voice.
"i'm worried about Seungcheol, i've just had a bad feeling in my gut since that dream I had this morning" she said, not being able to shake the feeling that something was wrong.
"It was only a dream, whatever happened in it isn't going to happen in real life, we're going to find him okay?" he reassured, trying to bring a smile back to her face.

"where are we going anyway? we've been walking for a while" she asked.
"we're heading to the central part of the city, we want to see if any of the government buildings have any information or documents about how this all started" Soonyoung replied from the front of the group, his eyes glued on the path ahead of them. They were currently walking on a main road that led to a highway. There were abandoned cars all over the road that looked like they were trapped in time.
"it will probably be another hour of walking until we reach the main part of the city and get off the highway" Jihoon informed.

The group made their way up a steep part of the road, leading up to the highway.
"oh fuck..." Mingyu swore as he saw what was in front of them. There was a horde of around 400-500 zombies heading in their direction. They all stopped in their tracks, each of them frozen. Y/n's breath hitched,
"w-why are there so many..."she mumbled. Every second they stood frozen, the horde would get closer to them. They looked around for somewhere to go, the trees around them were littered with zombies and there were some loitering behind them. If they made a run for it they would definitely attract a few zombies and would risk attracting the horde, which they wouldn't be able to outrun.

"the cars.." Vernon mumbled. Everyone looked at him confused.
"the cars, hide under the cars, we can try and wait them out until they pass" he repeated. Everyone nodded and quickly slid under a car nearby.
