It was the groups second day at the cabin, their second day without food or water. Each of them feeling extremely famished, fatigued and dehydrated.
The area they were in was unknown to all of them. Sure Seungcheol knew about the location of the cabin but he wasn't familiar with its surroundings. From what the eye could see and from what they remember when travelling to the cabin, the area was fairly desolate, only the occasional run down convenience store within a few kilometres of where they were staying. All of them probably having nothing useful to them inside.
"We need to go out and find food or something otherwise we're going to starve and die here" Seungcheol spoke up.
"You're the one that led us to this cabin in the middle of absolutely fucking nowhere" Jihoon argued, his body slouched on the couch, not having enough energy to actually sit up properly.
"Well we're safe aren't we?" he retorted, sparing Jihoon a dissatisfied glance.
"I wouldn't exactly call being on the brink of starvation safe, but apparently we have different definitions of what safe means" Jihoon shot daggers back at Seungcheol who was staring at him from across the room, slowly loosing his last bit of patience he held. The tension in the air was thick and heavy, suffocating everyone else in the room.
Soonyoung suddenly stood up from his place at the table. The sound of his chair squeaking against the wooden floor as he stood up caught everyone's attention.
"Both of you shut the fuck up" he exhaled through his nose and rubbed his temples, having enough of the bickering that bounced back and forth.
"Arguing isn't going to solve any of our problems so get off your asses and let's go look for food, or at least anything that can help us survive, because god forbid i spend another day in this shitty cabin with both of your whiney voices arguing constantly!" the silver haired male huffed. His outburst quickly shut up the other two males who were both looking away awkwardly before standing up and agreeing to leave the cabin with Soonyoung and a few of the other males.Minghao made his way to one of the bedrooms which was dimly lit and stuffy. He sat on the edge of the bed. Y/n groaned when she felt the bed dip near her feet.
"go away" she mumbled as she turned her face into the pillow her head was resting on.
"Y/n stop being so stubborn I need to check on your wound and make sure it's healing properly" he said. She remained silent and didn't move her head from the pillow. After a few seconds and a long sigh, she stretched her leg out towards Minghao, signaling for him to check her leg, realising he wasn't going to leave until he got what he wanted. He rolled up her pants and gently unwrapped the bandaging, only slightly so he would still be able to leave it on. Once he was satisfied with how her leg was healing he rolled her pants back down and tapped her leg, letting her know he was done."You know you're going to have to talk to us eventually..." Minghao sighed as he left the room, leaving the girl alone yet again. She didn't want to talk to any of them. She just wanted to lay in that bed all day everyday and hope that everything would resolve itself around her. She wished that she could go to sleep and wake up and all of this be over, but she knew it wasn't that easy.

The supply hunting trip was painfully quiet. Seungcheol and Jihoon made sure to keep their distance from one another as they continued to sulk after being told off by Soonyoung who led the group to- well he didn't know where, but he hoped it was somewhere that proved useful. The rest of the group - which consisted of Vernon, Joshua, Mingyu and Seokmin - remained quiet as well, scared that if they said anything or even if they breathed the wrong way, they would cause another unwanted argument.
After a while, the group finally made it to an area where there were multiple buildings, almost like a small town. They quickly made their way into the nearest building that looked like it could possibly have food that they could take with them. When they walked in, they were too focused on finding supplies that they forgot to check the building for zombies. They instantly regretted their forgetfulness when Joshua was side tackled, his body harshly colliding with the hard ground under him. The male struggled under its hold until the others quickly pulled it off of him and smashed its head with a pole they found nearby.
"fuck are you okay?" Seokmin asked as he pulled Joshua up from the ground. The said male groaned in pain as he stood up, his whole body aching. He nodded and brushed himself off.
"I definitely didn't miss this.." Mingyu stated as he walked further into the building to look for supplies.———————————
