Soonyoung held his cheek where Seungcheol had just hit him. He winced as his fingers touched the now tender and red flesh. That will definitely leave a bruise.

"what is wrong with you?!" Y/n directed at her brother, hurt evident in her eyes as she glared at him. She rushed over to Soonyoung's aid, gently touching his cheek.

Seungcheol's initial rage had dissipated slightly, replaced with the familiar feeling of guilt that crept up inside of him. He bit the inside of his cheek,
"Y/n-"
"Don't talk to me!" she shouted. Seungcheol immediately retracted his hand that was on her shoulder. He opened his mouth but quickly shut it, realising that nothing he would say could calm his sister down when she was this irate. He quietly watched as she took Soonyoung's hand and pulled him out of the room, not forgetting to glare at him before she walked out. Shit. He really fucked up this time.

Seungcheol spent the rest of the night being ignored by Y/n. He eventually gave up trying to talk to her, deciding it would be better to give her space. Jeonghan scolded him for how he acted and told him he should apologise to Soonyoung when the tension eased between them.

He was now outside, sitting cross legged in front of Joshua's grave. He played with the grass below him as he silently ranted to his best friend.
"I wish you were here...you always knew what to do in these situations" he mumbled sadly. He titled his head up and raised his eyebrows, trying to suppress his tears from falling. He was always too stubborn to cry but right now he felt vulnerable and alone. It was stupid of him to feel this way, considering it was his fault his own sister hated him right now. He had no right to be upset.

A few days had passed and the supply team were out early in the morning. Y/n was still ignoring Seungcheol and the guilt was gnawing away at him. As a result of the tension between the Choi siblings, the whole group was uncomfortably silent.

Back at the cabin, Junhui was making a lot more progress with the radio. He was still only able to connect to Japanese broadcasts but he was now connecting to things other than radio stations that just played music. Although he was making progress, he was getting sick of looking at the same thing everyday and his hands ached from twisting tools all day. He sighed heavily and dropped the radio on the table out of frustration.

"hey be careful.. you don't want to break it" Minghao spoke up from next to him, where he was previously resting his head on his arms, watching Junhui. He was about to retort back but stopped when he heard something from the radio he hadn't heard before. It was someone speaking in Japanese, which wasn't unusual, but this time it sounded like an actual person, trying to talk to them.

Although they weren't fluent in the language, they could at least understand that the person was repeating "hello" and they gathered that they were asking if anyone was on the other side.

Junhui panicked and quickly picked up the radio, fumbling around with it in his hands. He hurriedly connected his headphones to it which had a microphone attached. His heart was racing a million miles an hour, his hands were clammy and his voice was shaky when he spoke back,
"h-hello? can you here me?!" he asked. The radio was silent on the other side and he felt his mouth go dry. He spoke into the microphone again,
"is anyone there? please we need help!" he spoke, his hands starting to shake. His hope was quickly fading the longer the radio stayed silent. That was until someone on the other side said something before it went silent again. Junhui and Minghao gave each other a confused glance, not knowing what was being said over the radio.

Both of their ears immediately perked up when they heard someone else speak, the person obviously fluent in Korean.
"hello? is someone there?" they asked, their voice cutting out every so often.
"y-yes..Yes! hello?!" Junhui answered quickly.
"who are you? how did you connect to our-"
"we're from South Korea..please we need help! I-I don't know if the rest of the world knows what's happening but there's an outbreak here and we don't want to die! please help us..." Junhui interrupted, wanting to get to the point as quickly as possible.

His head spun and his muscles were tense as they conversed. They might actually have a chance to survive and get help. He didn't want to mess this up.
