Seungcheol, Soonyoung and Mingyu pushed their bodies against the door, struggling to hold it closed as the zombies pushed against it. They were bashing against the windows, trying to pull the wooden boards off of them in order to get closer to the people on the other side of them.

Y/n started hyperventilating, the room spinning around her, the banging on the door and windows and the yelling coming from the boys struggling to keep the zombies out overwhelmed her way too much. She brushed her hands through her hair, crouching down into a squat, wanting to disappear.
"Y/n what's going on? what's happening?" Seungkwan asked, desperately shaking his friend, trying to get her to snap out of it.

Soonyoung was stressed, he didn't know what to do. They were surrounded and he didn't know how to keep everyone safe in a situation like this.
"Shit.." he mumbled when he heard glass shattering from the other side of the warehouse. One of the windows had been broken into. Minghao and Jun pushed a table with chairs on top of it over to the door. They pushed it against it, allowing Soonyoung, Seungcheol and Mingyu to let go of it. Soonyoung grabbed a rifle and rushed over to the broken window where zombies were trying to climb through it, shooting as many of them through the head as he could. Vernon ran over to help him, pushing some of them out of the window with the end of his bat.

One by one, a few more of the windows were broken into. The wooden boards being thrown to the side as the inhuman creatures stumbled over the window sill. They toppled over one another as they crawled inside the warehouse.

There were too many of them and not everyone in the group knew how to defend themselves.
"We're going to die if we don't leave" Soonyoung groaned out as he hit a zombie in the head with the butt of his gun.
"How are we supposed to leave if we're surrounded! There's no way out!" Jihoon yelled from the opposite side of the warehouse. They were beginning to become outnumbered as more and more zombies slipped through the windows. The door burst open from the sheer amount of pressure being put against it from the outside, the table and chairs not being enough to hold it shut.

"There's a way to get up to the roof from inside, we could get on top of the warehouse and jump across to the building next to it, if we make a distraction here it'll give us enough time to climb down that building and run" Wonwoo explained. He knew the warehouse like the back of his hand, even every little nook and cranny. He spent most of his time alone when he was in the warehouse even though there were always others around, he preferred the solitude. He was a very observant and detailed oriented person and I guess in the end it payed off.

While mainly the supply team fought off as many zombies as they could, Wonwoo ushered everyone else to an old rusted ladder which reached a hatch, leading to the roof of the warehouse. Seungkwan and Chan dragged Y/n to her feet and pulled her over to the ladder. She protested and tried to push herself out of their grasp.
"No i'm not leaving them behind!" she yelled. She watched as her friends and her brother fought for their lives. Seungcheol heard her,
"Y/n get your ass up that fucking ladder now!"he yelled, wanting to make sure he sister had a chance at being safe.

Minghao, Junhui, Joshua, Jeonghan had made their way up the ladder, waiting for the rest of their group on the roof of the warehouse. Seungkwan began climbing the ladder,
"Y/n we need to go, please..." Chan begged as he pulled on her arm.
"I'm not leaving until they leave!" she protested. She ran off and left Chan standing at the ladder. She held her pistol in one hand and pulled her blade from her side, taking it into her other hand. She ran over to her brother and stood by his side,
"I don't want to be separated from you. Not again." she said.

They started killing off more and more zombies, allowing them time to run over to ladder before they flooded through the door and windows. They slowly made their way backwards towards the ladder, killing zombies as they did. Y/n shot one through the head and stabbed another straight after. Seokmin, Mingyu and Jihoon began climbing up the ladder, following Chan. Soonyoung reloaded his rifle and held his finger on the trigger, firing into the crowd of zombies in front of him. Seungcheol began climbing the ladder and held out his hand to his sister to help her step onto the ladder as well. Soonyoung looked back at Wonwoo and gestured for him to go first. He shook his head at the gesture, wanting the white haired male to go first.

Wonwoo had a gun in his hand and shot as many zombies as he could to allow Soonyoung to get onto the ladder safely. When he was halfway up the ladder, with Y/n just above him, he looked down and noticed Wonwoo hadn't started climbing yet.
"Wonwoo! What are you doing?!" he yelled. The male looked up at him and gave him a small smile,
"I said we needed a distraction, didn't I?". He grabbed an emergency flare from his pocket and lit it, red flames emitting from it. He threw it across the room which caused the zombies to chase after it, like moths attracted to light.
"Go! Get everyone out of here!" he yelled up at Soonyoung.

Wonwoo held his gun up and ran into the crowd of zombies, shooting as many as he could. He was majorly outnumbered and he soon ran out of ammunition. His gun clicked and he stared down at in his hands. He noticed zombies trying to climb the ladder and ran over to them, pulling them off of it by force.

He groaned loudly when he felt a sharp pain on his shoulder. A zombie had bit into him, pulling him back.

He pushed it off of him and lit another flare, running the opposite direction that the ladder was in.
"Wonwoo!!!!" Y/n screamed as she watched the scene unfold before her. More zombies had began to bite and scratch at his skin, pulling him to the ground.

He knew he was going to die but he still fought to protect his friends.

Y/n refused to climb onto the roof, not wanting to leave him behind. Seungcheol pulled her up by force with the help of Mingyu. She was screaming and crying, hitting and punching the two boys, trying to push them away from her.

They managed to pull her up onto the roof and Soonyoung followed. Before he closed the hatch he took one last glance down the ladder. He watched as his friend fought for them, tears welling up in his eyes. Before he was dragged down onto the crowd of zombies to be relentlessly torn apart, Soonyoung took his gun and aimed it as the males head. He hands shook and a tear rolled down his cheek,
"I'm so sorry.." he muttered before he pulled the trigger, letting his friend die with his humanity and dignity still intact.
