🧪Twenty one🦠

Some of the cars were spread a fair distance from one another. Jihoon and Vernon were under the same car, Seokmin and Mingyu were under a car in front of them, Soonyoung underneath a car next to the one Jihoon and Vernon were under and Y/n was under a car a few metres away from the one Soonyoung was under, she was closest to grass next to the highway whereas the others were closer to the middle of the road.

Vernon's anxiety rose, not liking that Y/n was so far away from them. Y/n kept her head down as the horde began to walk past them. She screwed her eyes shut, hugging her backpack close to her chest. The horde knocked the cars as they walked past, the mass amount of them walking past, causing the cars to rock and move. Soonyoung kept looking between the cars, making sure everyone was okay.
Why are they moving so fucking slow he thought, not even a quarter of the horde having passed them yet. Mingyu had his hand pressed firmly over Seokmin's mouth, knowing he wouldn't be able to keep quiet on his own.

Some of the zombies were moving faster than the ones at the front of the horde, causing them to push and run into one another. One of them was pushed over and it fell next to the car Y/n was under. Y/n slowly opened her eyes which instantly widened as she noticed the zombie on the ground a few feet from her. She gasped and quickly covered her mouth when she realised it would be able to hear her. At hearing something next to it, it quickly snapped it's head to the side and noticed the girl under the car.

It's mouth opened as it snarled at her, it's arms reaching out to grab her. It then started to crawl towards her, realising it could fit under the car. Vernon panicked and went to move from under the car he was under, Jihoon grabbing him before he could go anywhere. He shook his head at him, signalling him not to move.
"Only one of them has noticed her, if you move now, you'll attract the attention of a lot more than just one.." Jihoon whispered.

Soonyoung was watching Y/n carefully, struggling to restrain himself from going to help her, though he was smart enough to know it would make things worse if he did.

Y/n tried her best not to panic, she didn't want to make a scene and end up dead. The zombie in front of her struggled to slide its self under the car, it smashing its head into the car every time it moved forward. Y/n locked eyes with Soonyoung,
"i'll be fine, you guys keep going i'll meet you back at the warehouse" she mouthed, hoping Soonyoung would understand what she said. Relief washed over her as she saw him nod after a few seconds, clearly not wanting to leave without her but knowing they couldn't do anything else.

She looked behind her and noticed there were no zombies between her and the trees to the side of the highway. If she was quick and quiet enough she could slip out from under the car and crawl over to the trees. The zombie was getting closer to her and it was growling louder the closer it got. She steadied her breathing and carefully slid out from under the car. She knelt next to it and crawled over to the railing on the side of the road and climbed underneath it, the railing shielding her from the view of the horde. She looked back at the males still under the cars and hesitated before quickly making her way into the forest next to the highway. She hoped she would be able to see them again soon and that they would all end up safe.

She ran as far as she could away from the highway until she couldn't run anymore, hoping nothing followed her from the highway. She put her hands on her knees and caught her breath. She looked around and panicked, not knowing which way was the way back to the warehouse. All the trees around her looked the same. She spun around, not remembering which direction she ran from. She sighed and mentally slapped herself, not knowing how she was going to make it back.
