I was an ordinary girl, well, as ordinarily average as an Army brat can get. Dad was stationed in South Korea, Mom felt I should continue going to an American highschool, for the experience she said. They shipped me off to the family estate, Aquae House to live with my relatives in the backwoods of rural Pennsylvania. All of my belongs were put in boxes and sent to Aquae House.
When I got there Aunt Adelina warned me to stay out of the forest behind the house. That was all she said to me. Dad told me that my cousins Eliza and Peter had gotten lost back there once. Eliza and Peter would be seniors come fall and I would be a junior at the local high school. Eliza was friendly, but mysterious, a bit distant and distracted, always staring out at the forest. Between Eliza's odd behavior and the vague warnings I was curious, curious enough to investigate for my self. About a week after I arrived at Aquae House I packed a backpack for the day and went into the forest.
I walked for an hour or so in the predawn mist until I stumbled upon a stone arch, I walked through. Littlle did I know the arch was a connection between our world and a world hidden within our world. A world of faeries, elves, dwarves, dragons, and more. It was in this world that I discovered my faery heritage. I spent two years there learning to control my magic and studying in the libraries of the elves. When I stepped back through the arch into this world once more SHIELD was waiting for me.
