SHIELD took me to a base in an undisclosed location, telling my parents that I had won an internship for a prestigous engineering firm in Washington D.C. My absence had gone unnoticed, my family believed me to have been at a boarding school on an engineering scholarship. Faeries make very convincing cover stories. SHIELD knows that the boarding school story is bogus, they asked me a few questions about where I really was and what my powers were. An agent assigned me to a room and I was given free range to wander around the base. All the top secret areas were only access able with key codes.
Mostly I just sit and read in my room, my personal possessions were returned to me, minus the weapons of course. All of my books were in Feycode, a language only readable by those with faery blood in them. I finish rereading the last of my books and decide to set out to find more. I wander down various hallways passing by people. All of the rooms are locked, except one, I enter. Inside is an archery range, sleek and modern with high tech bows and arrows. I pick one up and take a moment to get used to the feel of it. It is a good bow, powerful and accurate. I grab a quiver of practice arrows and take aim at the target. Draw, release, the arrow flies and hit the bottom of the target, it takes a few more shots to get used to the bow but soon all the arrows are hitting the bulls-eye. Something triggers a set of moving targets, I hit those too, not stopping , not thinking until I run out of arrows. I turn to put the bow and quiver back and see a man with close cropped brown hair, wearing all black and an arm guard standing there.
