By the time we make it back to the tower Eliza is awake. I meet Eliza in the lab after changing into a pair of jeans and t shirt that says "If you can read this than my invisibility cloak is defective" . Eliza is working on one of her projects, she is studying pyrotechnics and other explosives at college. I'm busy rebuilding my toaster. This time it won't explode. At least I'm pretty sure it won't, there is always the chance it might. Who knows.

Cap pokes his head into the lab, "That thing isn't going to explode is it?"

"It's a firework, what do ya think it's supposed to do?" Eliza grumbles not realizing that Steve was talking about my toaster.

"You're handling explosives in here!"

"Fireworks. Not exactly bombs, just pyrotechnic displays for the Fourth of July. It's tomorrow you know."

"I know."

"Of course."

"What?"

"Nothing." Eliza rolls her eyes, "Sorry about the storm by the way, freaky side affect of being mostly human, the three of us can share powers when we are close by. Between my wind, Beth's water, Peter's earth, and our shared oddities we whip up a pretty fierce storm. That's why halflings are feared by full blooded Fey, cause we are more powerful, I mean, well, different mostly and different is dangerous. Especially when you're talking about magic.  Not that we would ever hurt anyone on purpose unless we had to..."

"Uh, okay." Steve walks away shaking his head. As soon as the door closes behind him Eliza turns to me and high fives me. "A bit of rambling and he forgot entirely about the explosives."

"Explosives? There better not be any explosives in my lab." Stark scolds.

"Umm, do fireworks count?"

"Yeah..."

"Oh, uh I'm making fireworks for tomorrow. Don't worry, I'm very well trained." Eliza smiles eerily, I know what she's thinking about. She set and made the explosives that were used as distractions during the attack on the Light Queen.

"Stop it, that's creepy."

"What this?" I giggle and then mimic Eliza's smile.

"Yes that!" Eliza and i keep smiling and Stark leaves. Eliza and I high five and then Dr. Banner walks in.

"Are those what I think they are?"

"I dunno know, depends, what do think this stuff is?"

"I'm not sure you should be doing that in the lab." Banner says hesitantly but confidently, an odd contradiction but that's Banner in a nutshell. Nat walks in, "Need you three in the living room. Now."
