"Did you really know it was an illusion?" Steve asks running his hand through his hair.
"Yeah, the colors shifted slightly. No matter how good the illusion there is always some subtle tell." I shrug, "Luc told me what to watch for."
"Any of the others illusions?" Stark inquires.
"Nope, but I know where your wrench is. I borrowed it while I working on my toaster, it's on my work station."
"What was the point of the toaster experiment?" Nat wonders aloud.
"To create a more energy efficient, green toaster that still makes decent toast and doesn't self destruct. I solved the energy efficiency and toast quality, unfortunately the self destructing thing still needs work. With a couple more trials I should be able to work that out."
"We have a room for testing explosives, you may want to consider using it for further experiments." Dr. Banner interjects.
I finish my food and get up and go wash my plate. When I'm finished I head back to my room and email my grandparents.
