Krizzy stalks back and forth in the living room shouting things in various languages as the Avengers lounge about waiting for her to finish. She starts in Dwarvish and works her way through all the Dragon, Familiar, and Fey insults and cuss words she knows, which is to say most of them. She reaches Mage, then finally the old language, and the native elven tongue almost forgot as it is. Clint is perched on one of the platforms built up one of the walls for him. A tangle of ropes and ladders decorate the wall he watches as she storms around. I settle in on one of the other perches, low enough to still be part of the conversation.

Krizzy stops pacing and yells at the ceiling in old language all her usual composure gone, "F-ing  idiots, they endanger the peace. No regard for diplomacy. Lets show all our cards! Arggh! That stupid son of a wyrm! And in front of everyone, he purposefully provoked him too, knowing what would happen. He's lucky he didn't get killed. Or worse."

"Peace." Eliza says, trying to calm her down before something happens. Sure enough the lights flicker and the floor shakes, storm clouds whirl outside the windows. Steve's shield vibrates and zooms towards the ceiling, drawn by some unseen force carrying Steve with it. I launch off of the platform and grab his arms as his shield separates from it's attachment on his back. I can't keep him aloft but I can slow our descent enough to avoid injury. Krizzy sees Steve falling and he is held aloft by telekinesis, I let go of him and he is gently lowered to the floor. Krizzy seems to have snapped out of it, things returning to normal. She takes a deep breath and faces Nat, Steve, and Clint who are grouped  together now.

She bows, one hand in front of her waist, the other behind, "I regret my actions and seek to make peace and amends for the actions of my companions."

Nat raises an eyebrow and shrugs, "Not the strangest thing that has happened here. I take it Dereck provoked the fight?"

"Indeed he did, insulted Dominicus' deceased parents. Apparently he was trying out a, er , yo momma joke. I do not understand this reference."

"Yo mama so dumb she told everyone that she was "illegitiment" because she couldn't read." Stark says. In an instant Krizzy has an arrow aimed at his throat.

"You dare to insult my mother, the dowager queen Phaedra Aurelia of Ayllaria. You will regret your insolence."

Peter stands in between Krizzy and Stark, "Calm down, he was just providing an example."

Stark looks like he is going to say something but thinks better of it, good, he must be mostly sober then. Krizzy looks doubtful and very angry but still lowers her bow, slowly releasing the tension. I break the silence, "So, any one want to play a board game or something?"

On the way to the game room (I guess this tower really does have a room for everything) Steve, Nat, and Clint pull me aside.

"I thought you said they were elves, not frickin' dragons!" Clint says.

"Oh, Krizzy and Dereck are elves. Dominicus is something else."

"A dragon?"

"Er, a familiar, like a werewolf but not an in a variety of animals, Dragons being the only exception as they are a sentient species not animals. Dereck can mimic forms like Loki and Krizzy 'wields the might of Castle Ceteria' which no one has explained so um yeah." I answer. they seem to accept this. I guess stranger things have happened around here.  With that talk over with we proceed to the gameroom, which is just a room with a circular table or two and cabinets of every game every made and a few that the team has created, a giant flatscreen tv and video game consoles are there too, Stark funded the whole thing aparently. Risk is set up, with a "Nine Realms extension pack" Krizzy laughs at the map of the world, "You are missing an entire continent, and you don't even miss it. Well, that is not entirely accurate, really."

Dereck has never seen a map of the world as the rest of the world sees it before and he looks confused, he mindspeaks Krizzy, 'What's a continent?'

'A large landmass, our entire world, is just one of seven, well eight according to these maps, but seven really as they seem to have split one in two to make up for the loss.'

"How do you view the world?" Banner asks politely. Krizzia points at Europe and Asia, "These are one continent, one land mass. My world, is on a continent, bigger than this one, "pointing to Australia, "but smaller than this one" pointing to Europe and Asia together. "You fail to see it because of enchantment cast long ago, a barrier surrounds us, protects us, and humans simply poof! around us. Not teleportation but something older, deep magic, forgotten magics. You remember us only in legend and myth now."

"Where on this map, would we find this eighth continent?" Loki muses.

"You would not. It does not exist on this map, this world is wrong. Even so, it would take a witch to be able to cross the barrier, or one with the powers of a witch, or such as that."

"So Wanda could cross the barrier if she was in the right spot?" Banner queries.

"No. She is not a witch, it is not something that is created but born like the color of your eyes or skin. The witches are a race one of seven, technically female mages, Wanda is of the human race. She has powers, yes, but this is different, genetics is the proper term in this language, in my native tongue it means more than it does in this one but this is the closest translation." Krizzy touches the board, expanding it further, adding a map of the realms in the atlantic ocean, no that is not where they are but whatever, little dotted lines connect it to a few random territories o the board. Asgard and those realms are connected in a similar manner, randomly placed on the board with dotted lines representing 'hypothetical' crossing points for the sake of the game.

We play team risk, so we can all play and the game ends quicker. The senior agents: Steve, Nat, Clint, Stark, Banner, Sam, Bucky, and Thor are on a team. Krizzy, Dominicus, Dereck, Eliza, Peter, Wanda, Loki, and myself form the other. I leap to my feet, "We have enough people to play Quidditch!"

"So we do, I believe Peter has the chest, shall we play then?"

"Can we, please?" I ask looking to the senior agents for approval. Nat shrugs, "Sounds fun."
