I am flying across the prairie watching the rolling hills and blue sky, The wind is just perfect for gliding across the sky, just occasionally flapping my wings. The wind whips through my shoulder length blonde hair. Today I'm flying as an eagle, my first pair of wings and my most natural. I circle and spin, even doing a couple spiraling dives as I just enjoy the feeling of flying. Besides that brief little flight when I when explaining my wings, I haven't flown since I left Faery and that was a month ago now.

I land on the roof and punch in the access code to get back inside. I follow the shouts to the meeting room where everyone is gathered discussing what to do with Loki. The arguement goes back and forth, believe him, don't, throw him off a cliff...

I sit down next to Loki at the far end of the table, "What did you say to get them so riled up?"

"The truth."

"In a time of universal deceit- telling the truth is a revolutionary act. George Orwell."

"And what is that supposed to mean? Pray tell fair lady?"

"The interpretation is up to you, good sir."

"Very well." He sighs dramatically.

"The truth. It is a beautiful and terrible thing, and must therefore be treated with great caution. J. K. Rowling."

He nods. "And yet, the truth is so rarely believed when I speak it."

"Perhaps because you lie more than you speak truth."

"Perhaps."

The Avengers finally come to a conclusion, Cap speaks for the group. "We have decided to believe you Loki. Until you are proven a liar, well tht is about this anyhow. Even the slightest sign of betrayal and you're gone."
