"Have you ever used a gun before?" Natasha asks me, turns out training involves expanding my skill set not just improving on the ones I already have.

"Just a .22 rifle and some airsoft guns." I reply staring at the pistol she is holding. "I know some basic gun safety, that's about it though."

"Good, no habits to unlearn then. Feet shoulder width apart, not so stiff, loosen up a bit. Okay, now you can shoot." Natasha corrects, close my right eye to aim."No, both eyes open. Are you left handed?"

"No, left eye dominate but right handed."

"Just keep both eyes open."

"How am I suppose to aim?"

"Like in archery, you just feel where it will go, no sights in archery. Why aren't you shooting?"

the rest of the lesson continues like this, I wind up only hitting the target once and firing a total of eight shots in the entire hour before Natasha and Clint send me to the gym for PT with Cap. After that Sam will help on improving flying in the wind tunnel then Thor and Wanda are going to help with developing my powers. The gym is yet another enormous room, it has various exercise machinery surrounded by a traditional track. Cap is standing on the track waiting for me when I arrive, "Today you get to run a few laps, get an idea of where you are at already. see how much you need to improve."

I hate running, I really hate running, especially indoors. At least outside you are going somewhere. At least it isn't a treadmill.Treadmills are worse, makes me feel like a hamster on a wheel, just running and not getting anywhere.

After a mile or so I begin breathing heavily, not able to keep up the pace without tiring. I push myself to keep going, despite my exhaustion. A cat walks out in front of me.

"AAH! Cat!" I shriek and begin to back away from it. I am scared of cats, very, very scared. And allergic, "Kachoo! Ka-choo!"

By this point Steve has stopped running and has turned around to see what's wrong. The cat hisses at me, baring it's pointy fangs at me. I sneeze again, and continue backing away.

"Are you scared of cats?" Cap asks bending over to pick up the little beast,"He wouldn't hurt you, see how sweet he is."

Cap extends him arms holding the tabby out in front of me. I turn and run out of the gym as fast as I can. I bump into Sam on my way out, "Hey, you finished with Cap?"

"He has a c-cat. I don't like cats." I sneeze again, " And I'm allergic."

Thor wanders down the hall, "Cat, where are thou hiding, oh small predator? Sam, Beth, have you seen my cat?"

"Cap has him, in the gym. Your cat isn't very nice, he hissed at me." I say pointing at the gym doors. Cap walks out suddenly still holding the cat. I leap backwards, Cap smirks, "Beth here is afraid of your cat Thor."

"Does he speak the truth?" Thor inquires slightly amused, by this time Natasha and Clint have wandered over to see what is happening.

"He does, in my defense I am allergic-" I answer, "Lots of people are scared of cats. It isn't that weird."

Cap hands the cat over to Thor who then sets it on the ground, I swear it is smirking at me. The cat steps closer, I back up, it springs at me. I wind up on the chandelier. Stark chooses to walk in just then, "Why's Beth on the chandelier? Are you guys having a party, and you didn't invite me."

"Beth is scared of cats, and Thor just brought one home from who knows where." Cap chuckles.

"It isn't funny." I shout from my perch on the chandelier, "Well maybe a little, no, it isn't funny I am allergic and that cat tried to attack me."

" You have my apologies Beth, I did not intend for my cat to scare you or cause you harm in any way."

I sneeze again, this time falling off the chandelier.
