The best part abut roasting marshmallows is that everyone always gets along. It's too hard not to be happy with s'mores and cool summer nights. Stark was drinking some sort of liquor but other than that everything went according to plan and as the fire slowly died down we were all talking and laughing. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, mission accomplished. I learned Wanda had just lost her twin brother, Pietro during the Avenger's fight against an artificial intelligence set on destroying humanity. She also caught me up on some of the major events that I missed telling me about the battle of New York and HYDRA's attempted takeover of SHIELD.

Looking around at the group assembled around me; Thor telling Stark the story of a long ago battle, Natasha and Dr. Banner laughing side by side at Thor's exaggerated gestures, Steve and Sam debating the merits of some movie, Wanda and I talking quietly over our s'mores, at this moment it's hard to believe these are the people who save the world.

"Beth! Have you read Harry Potter?" Sam asks me. I look up ad wipe the marshmallow off my face before replying.

"My favorite series for the last eleven years. Are you on Pottermore? I'm a Ravenclaw by the way, What house are you guys in?"

"I'm a Gryffindor. Help me convince Steve to read the books, He's missing out on so much, but I don't have to tell you that." Sam answers.

"You haven't read Harry Potter! It's best series ever, well, maybe the Ender quartet beats it but those are two completely different genres. You just have to read Harry Potter. And Ender's Game, best books ever. It'll help you fit in with modern society too."

Steve contemplates it for a moment," I suppose I could try-" He stops speaking and stares at something over my head. I turn and see a man with shoulder length black hair and a metal arm standing on the path.

"Bucky." Steve says, his voice full of emotion"What are you doing here?"

The man, Bucky, doesn't answer, he is staring at me, "Becky?"

"No, I'm Beth. Becky is my Grandma. You are talking about Becky Barnes-Aquae right? Just guessing, you must be my Great-Uncle Bucky. Grandma talks about you often."

"She got married, she grew up. Life goes on after all. Even if it goes on without you." He whispers. I get up and hug him.

"Grandma told me to hug you when you returned if she wasn't there. She missed you." I'm pretty sure he is crying, oops.
