I finish putting the doors back together thirty minutes later, after changing the code of course. What sort person would I be if I didn't at least attempt to change the code. The whole thing was a joke by Natasha and Clint, from what I heard they pulled similar tricks on Sam and Wanda when they first arrived. I changed the code to a favorite Latin quotation. Veni, vidi, vici. I head back inside.

"Did you fix them?" Cap asks, "Properly fix them?"

"Yeah, you can go check if you want to."

"Stark, your area of expertise." Cap, Stark, Dr.Banner, and Sam leave to go check the doors. Tony fiddles around with the mechanisms, closes the doors to verify they work and can't get them open again. I can hear him trying to reprogram the keypad in vain. Yep, he just starting cussing. Steve starts trying to force the doors open but they won't budge. They were designed to contain the Hulk after all. Clint, Natasha, Wanda, and I are all laughing at their efforts to get back in. Steve starts demanding for us to open the doors. I type in the code careful to not let the others see, though I am pretty Natasha and probably Clint know the code. They are super spies and all, I would be disappointed if they didn't. Cap storms in, "What was that all about huh? The doors are a very serious matter. Stop laughing."

"A joke is a very serious thing. Winston Churchill." I retort, not quite able to wipe the grin off my face. Even Clint is still grinning.

"It was rather funny." Dr. Banner interjects, "If you think about it."

"It was aimed at Stark, the rest of you just walked into it. Sorry about that, there wasn't a way to warn you without giving the joke away." I apologize, I seem to have been doing a lot of that since I walked through those doors, "Goodnight everyone."

I walk back up to the nest, second room on the right and throw open the door. My room is fairly large, furnished with a queen sized four poster, dark wooden desk, matching dresser, and a small bookshelf. All of my confiscated gear is piled neatly on the desk. I set my backpack down on the desk and collapse on the bed.
