Chapter 44

Beth: After a few days it is time to return home. My get well soon and we missed you presents from everyone will be coming with me; a new stack of books, a quiver of arrows fletched with my own molted feathers, a pair of matched knives Sylve forged for me. Krizzy is coming too, along with a few of her friends, to keep an eye on Loki and assist with the whole aliens  attacking thing.  I hold open my locket with it's dual portals; one side will send me to Aquae House and the other here to the green house of Castle Ceteria. One of the witches has created a portal in the fountain for us, it will send us straight to Avenger's tower to whichever water source has the capacity to host a portal t this moment in time. 

I step through first, so as not to scare anyone. The same funny feeling of falling, and then I am sitting in the kitchen sink which is filled with water for cleaning the dishes. Steve is staring at me over the top  of his shield.

"Hello, Cap." I hop out of the sink, my bottom is still dry despite having landed butt first into the sink/portal. Isn't magic great. No sooner have I gotten out of the sink then Loki has stepped through the portal, he struggles to get out cursing under his breath. I use the water, increasing the pressure to force him out of the sink. A bit to much, as he goes flying across the room. Eliza is next through. 

"A few people are going to be here keeping an eye on Loki and teaching him for a while, just don't freak out, okay?" The entire team enters the kitchen having heard my arrival.

Krizzy, a wolf, a tall, lean young man with wild black hair so dark it is almost purple who wears a large purple robe, then her bubbly cousin Sylve, and finally her brothers pop into the kitchen sink in succession. As soon as everyone is through the portal snaps shut with a faint pop returning the dish water to it's original non-magic state. Krizzy starts the diplomatic procedures speaking in the old language, "I, Ambassador Krizzia Peregrine, Princess of the Realm of Ayllaria, of House Falcon, Commander Legion One,  and Wielder of the might of Ceteria greet you. My companions, Ignatius Regius, of House Falcon, King of the Realm of Ayllaria; Lucian Ardin, of House Falcon, Prince of the realm of Ayllaria, Commander Legion Two; Theodosius Vox, Lord of House Wolf, Commander Legion Three; Sylvestris Drydales, Lady of House Falcon; Dereck the Unknown, adopted of House Mouse; and Loki Laufeyson, adopted of House Falcon."

 I respond in the appropriate manner, "We, Beth Aquae of the Shadow Fey, Captain Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, Natasha Romanoff, Dr. Bruce Banner, Sam Wilson, Wanda Maximoff, Thor Odinson, Loki Laufeyson, and Tony Stark are pleased to welcome the Ayllarian Ambassador and her companions into our home and extend our hospitality for as long as you should wish to stay. Shall we celebrate the arrival of our guests with a match of Capture the Flag as tradition dictates?"

"This is agreeable, let the match take place today at sundown. In the meantime we have much to discuss Beth Aquae of the Shadow Fey."

"May our discourse be friendly. Pax Vobiscum."

"Pax Vobiscum. I turn my armaments over to you in a gesture of good will." Krizzy sets her bow down at my feet followed by her quiver and sword. She pulls her dagger off her belt, then begins to remove the rest of her weapons. A set of throwing knives emerges from her left boot, more from the right boot, another quiver of arrows and a pair of daggers from her cloak, a few metal marbles, some implements I have no names for. A slingshot hidden in her belt, her signet ring comes off her finger. I know it contains a supply of highly concentrated belladonna. She mutters to herself, "Think that's it..."

Nat looks impressed, Thor does too and Loki grins. Clint obviously approves of her bow, Krizzy's forte is archery but she is equally well trained with her sword, knives, slingshot, and several other weapons as well as a couple forms of martial arts. "I acknowledge your gesture and return your armaments to you in a gesture of my own, in faith that they should not be used against any under my roof."
