"When I was sixteen I was sent to live with my relatives in Aquae House, Then I disappeared for two years. As in disappeared off the face of the earth. SHIELD found me and now I am here. So I completely missed the last two years.Anything important happen?"
"Not really."
"It was nice meeting you, but I think I'll go back to my room now."
I run all the way back to my room, I read until dinnertime before heading down to the dining hall. The dining hall reminds a lot of a school cafeteria.I grab a tray and join the line, tonight is chicken and mashed potatoes. I sit by myself in booth in the corner facing away from everyone else like I do every meal since I arrived.
"Beth?" Clint slides into the other side of the booth, "Would you like to join the Avengers?"
"Who?"
"The Avengers, save the world and stuff, Battle of New York, doesn't sound familiar to you?"
"Nope, I kind of missed the last two years or so."
"Really? The Cap and I were thinking that you would be a great addition to the team, the position would be more an internship or apprenticeship until you complete some training. Eventually you would be replacing me but that's a ways off, are you interested in joining the Avengers?"
"Yes."
"There is a meeting going on in the planning room right now. We can go collect your bow and then join the meeting."
