“OUCH, Bell!” Lucy squealed at me as I caught a bit of the skin on her back while zipping up her dress
“Sorry babes!” I replied “There. Beautiful!” She honestly did look gorgeous. She was wearing this- http://www.polyvore.com/lucy_caldwell/set?id=41019981 – I had gone with a bit of a sexier look - http://www.polyvore.com/bella_jiovani/set?id=41020713 – we were all at Kayleigh’s house getting ready for PROM! We were all so excited, the girls (and the boys too, but if you asked them, they’d deny it) had been planning this night for years. We were all out-of-our-minds excited, but, Kayleigh was ecstatic for two reasons, one she was the leader of this crazy prom train. She was on the committee and everything. She, of course, dragged us all to help her set everything up, but, we couldn’t say no, we knew how much it meant to her and she was just so darn cute about it. She even picked the theme- A Night Under the Stars- we were having it outside with twinkling lights everywhere and big white tents with huge dance floors scattered with silver, dark blue and white tables and table cloths and decorations all over the place. It was honestly gorgeous. She had done an amazing job. The second reason she was so crazy over prom was because of her date. She liked to think that only Cara and probably Liam knew about her crush/obsession on Seth, but, that girl seriously wears her emotions on her face. We all knew. She is shockingly easy to read and adorably naïve. She had picked this- http://www.polyvore.com/kayleigh_foster/set?id=41021330 – to wear to go with Seth’s purple theme. Jennifer was meeting us later. And last but certainly not least, Sadie had gone for - http://www.polyvore.com/sadie_payne/set?id=41019589- which was perfect to go with her hair!
“Because of You” by Ne-yo was blasting though the speakers in Kayleigh’s room as we laughed and rushed around helping each other put on make-up and touch up our hair.
“And I know this much is truuuue, baby, youuu have become my addiction!” Cara sang at the top of her lungs as she jumped up on the bed, pulling Lucy up with her and singing to her, into a can of hairspray. We all jumped up and joined in singing and dancing with each other until Sadie stopped the music and stuttering through laughs said
“Um guys, were late!”
“Crap!!” Kayleigh grunted
We were supposed to meet the boys at Niall’s house for pictures in his backyard. According to Luce and Sadie, it was spectacular. It’s weird, now that I think of it, Niall’s house is the only one of ‘the gang’s’ house I haven’t been to… my thoughts were interrupted by Kayleigh pulling us all into a huddle and saying
“Okay girls. This is it. We’ve been planning this night in our heads for forever now.”
“It’s always been us five.” Responded Sadie
*Muah* Cara replied, with an air-kiss in our direction.
“Let’s make this a night we’ll never forget, yeah?” I smiled looking at my four beautiful best friends.
“Awww I love you girls!” Lucy said pulling us all into a big group hug. As we hugged it felt so strange. Like almost sad because a time in our lives was certainly ending, but so happy, because a big and exciting time was upon us. I could tell we all felt the same way because the hug lasted just a bit longer than necessary and we were silent. When we all pulled away, we looked at each other, smiling with excitement and told each other how beautiful we all looked.
“Okay girls, let’s go!” Sadie said
We all walked down the stairs and got into Kayleigh’s car. We were going to sleep at Niall’s that night afterward, because we would be so tired, we would just crash there, so we left our cars at Kayleigh’s. Plus, the limo only made a certain amount of stops. Lucy, Cara, Kayleigh and Saide and I, jumped in Kayleigh’s cream colored, convertible bug (with the top UP of course) and headed to “The Hill”. We turned on “We Found Love” by Rihanna and sang our little hearts out all the way there.
