Louis POV

“Look, all I’m saying is, if I were a celebrity, I’d make the most out of it. You know, like for example, id date all the guys from JLS and go to parties with the cast of Skins and oh I’d totally go shopping with Beyonce.” Sadie was rambling on while packing up her suitcase. Her parents were leaving tomorrow for a two week business trip. They run a family company that ships food and supplies around the world or something and they are promoting a new line of camouflage in Japan. She and Liam were staying at the Foster’s (Kayleigh’s family) for the time their parents were away. I was looking at her extensive collection of sunglasses and trying them on in the mirror with Kayleigh. I put on a pink pair with rhinestones all over them and gave Kayleigh a ‘duck face’. She chuckled at me and turned them right side up, apparently they were upside down. Harry was sitting at Sadie’s vanity, giving Lucy a makeover. Liam had come back with Zayn from Zayn’s house about an hour ago and he and Niall were helping Liam pack. Harry and I preferred to spend our time with the ladies.

“OW! Haha Harry!” Lucy complained.

“Oops, I’m so sorry Lucy” Harry laughed. He had poked her in the eye with the mascara stick thingy.

“Hey Kayleigh?” Sadie asked “Do you think I should bring dresses?”

“Doesn’t matter, sure.” Kayleigh answered as she tried to balance another pair of sunglasses on my face, we were up to six. “If you forget something, we can just come here and get it anyway,”

“Poo!” I yelled. All the sunglasses tumbled to the floor.

“Hey, you ready?” Liam asked Sadie, peeking his head around the door.

“Yeah, almost.” She answered. Bella was folding jeans and putting them into the suitcase. We made eye contact and she smiled. I was happy that at least she wasn’t made at me. The speech in the woods that day at the lake really opened my eyes to what she wants. Now I need to figure out what I want. The fling with Kayleigh was fun, but it was really only physical attraction. We didn’t connect on the deeper, emotional level that Bella and I do.

“Come on, ladies and gentlemen!” Karen called from downstairs “We got to get going.” Liam and the lads were already down stairs with Liam’s luggage. Harry and I carried the rest of Sadie’s down, like gentlemen and packed it into the Payne’s SUV. Karen and Geoff hugged their kids and kissed and waved goodbye. We blasted “You Da One” by Rihanna and drove to Kayleigh’s I sat next to Bella, who sat next to Lucy, who was on Niall’s lap, in the back as Liam and Harry sat up front. Zayn, Kayleigh, Cara and Sadie were in Zayn’s car behind us. It was hard being so close to her when I knew she wanted me so bad and I was still undecided on my feelings about her. I know I want to make her happy like I once had, but not in that way. I don’t want it to be all physical like it was before and I’m unsure about how she wants the relationship to be. I mean I’m not saying I don’t want to kiss her again, because, really, I do, but I’ve played that game too many times and I’m bored of it. We pulled up to the Foster house and unloaded Sadie and Liam’s stuff before going to the kitchen where Michelle (Kayleigh’s mom) had ordered pizza for us all. She was the best.

“Hi Harry.” Carissa said, shyly, blushing and ran over and buried her face into Kayleigh’s stomach.

“Hi Carissa” Harry smiled to her. Carissa had a huge crush on Harry it was really cute. But how could you not have a crush on Harry with his unbelievable hair, adorable dimples and his eyes, oh they were-

“Okay. So. Ground rules.” Michelle started. “Only sleepovers with boys and girls separate. If you boys want to sleep here, you’re more than welcome, but only in Cadence’s room or the basement, okay?” We all agreed and she continued “second, Liam and Sadie, as well as you, Kayleigh must be home, as in, here, this house, before ten, every night.”

“Mommmm” Kayleigh complained. “That’s so early! You let Cadence stay out later!”

“That’s because he is an adult and has a job, but I suppose midnight is okay.” Michelle justified herself.

“Mom, you make me sound like a loser.” Cadence said, walking into the kitchen and grabbing something from the fridge. As soon as he walked in, I saw Sadie, Cara, Lucy and Bella perk up, fix their hair and put down their pizza.

“Hey Cadence” Bella said, looking at him then to the grease stains on his jeans. He had just gotten home from work and was all dirty from working on cars all day. The way the girls were looking at him, however, he may as well have been naked in front of them.

“Hi girls.” He smiled and took a swig of water “Hey boys, what’s up?” he asked us casually. We all nodded and ‘hey-ed’ and so on. The girls never took their eyes off him.

“Um, Care bear, your drooling.” I heard Kayleigh whisper to Cara. I only heard because I was standing right next to Cara. I started chuckling and Cara hit both of us.

“Okay, well as long as we’re all set on the rules here, have fun and please don’t break anything.” She looked straight at Niall when she said that because last time we hung out in Kayleigh’s basement; Niall and Liam were wrestling and broke a vase. As we made our way to the basement, Harry said to me-

“What’s up with the girls and Cadence?”

“Not sure mate, but it’s weird isn’t it?” I responded, confused

“Yeahh.”
