Cara POV
Harry’s hand was sneakily touching mine. We were on a white linen couch in Niall’s garden. My heart was racing but no one else seemed to notice. Sadie had just come out of the house, Zayn trailing behind. She came to join Harry and I on the couch. I scooted closer to him and he picked his arm up and wrapped it around me. I lifted my head and kissed his jaw. I nestled my head under his chin. Sadie was looking out at the daffodils. Zayn was watching her. It was a little uncomfortable, we all knew they were fighting; they had been a lot lately. I nudged her with my toe and she looked back at me. I smiled and she gave me an unconvincing one back and turned back to what she was doing.
“So you owe me a date, Mr. Horan.” Lucy teased. He kissed her on the forehead and she giggled.
“Because a massive surprise party wasn’t enough” Louis joked. I laughed out loud.
“I love your laugh; you should do it more often.” Harry said softly so only I heard. This made me blush. “Wanna go for a walk?” he asked. I nodded and stood. “We’ll be back.”
We walked down a path towards the daisies. Harry slid his hand down my arm and entwined his fingers in mine. He swung our hands back and forth. We strolled through the daisies and found a little stone bench under two weeping willows that grew towards each other making an arch. Aka- the most romantic place on earth. He had the same idea because he led me in the direction of the secluded bench.
“How are you, love?” he asked out of the blue.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“Well, I just want to make sure you’re alright. I mean I’m sure you still miss Alex and all.” I felt the pain in his voice.
“Hey,” I said making him look at me. “I haven’t thought about him since we started dating. I don’t know how I could think about another guy when I’m with you.” He smiled making his dimples show. They made my knees weak. Good thing we were sitting down or I would have fainted. I pressed my lips against his and he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me onto his lap staying in sync with my lips. He kissed me harder and I tangled my fingers in his hair. I couldn’t get any closer but I kept trying anyway. He ran his hand up my spine making me shiver and I felt him grin under my lips. He pulled away and kissed my collarbone.
“You’re so beautiful.” He whispered. My heart jumped and his lips traced a pattern up my neck and to my ear. His name slipped out of my lips and he pulled back to look at me. I just wanted to stay here forever. He found my hand and laced his fingers in mine again. He looked at our hands for a long time. “It’s a perfect fit” he concluded. I grinned and kissed him again. He leaned back and picked an orange tiger lily and handed it to me.
“Thanks” I said standing. “We should go back.”
When we got back to the couches Lucy and Niall were missing. Probably got the idea and went off to have a moment. Sadie and Zayn were still are far away from each other as possible, Kayleigh and Bella were still flirting with Liam and Louis. Same old, Same old. Harry sat and I climbed onto his lap wrapping his arms around me. I spun the lily in my fingers and smiled to myself because there isn’t a person in the world I’d rather have.
