Sadie’s POV
It was three weeks since the accident and my mom was driving Zayn and me to the hospital for his mom to take our casts off. We sat in the backseat and chatted with my mom about the Lake house. We were leaving tomorrow! I was ecstatic. Zayn and Kayleigh were sleeping over tonight so Niall wouldn’t have to pick up so many people. The only car we were taking was Niall’s Lincoln Navigator.
When we were done at the hospital we dropped by Zayn’s house to get his stuff.
“My foot is so pale!” I whined as I walked up his stairs behind him.
“And hairy” he teased. I smacked his bum. “You wanna fight?” he teased.
“Please, I would win and you would cry.” I replied. He then picked me up and threw me on his bed. “Alright, alright I’ll let you win this time!” I said and leaned up to kiss him. He straddled me and moved his hands under my back hugging me. I ran my fingers through his hair and he playfully bit my lip. He pushed off. I groaned he always stopped too soon. He grabbed two suitcases and a massive duffle bag off the floor. “All of that? I think you packed as much as I did!” I said giggling.
“Hey, hey I have needs too!” he said chuckling. We went back down the stairs and got back in the car. My mom teased Zayn about how much he brought too. He teased back, he was such a charmer, I swear.
When we got home Kayleigh was already there, in Liam’s room. He went to pick her up earlier. We walked into Liam’s room to find Liam at his desk on the computer and Kayleigh lying on the floor on her phone. “Bored much?” I asked plopping down on the bed.
“Just a little” Kayleigh said smiling. “Ooh, let me show you my new bikini!” she said standing up and skipping to me room where her stuff was. I shut the door behind me and she dug in her bags. “Where did you get those? They’re amazing!” She said excitedly. “They’re hot, without being slutty!”
“Well, my brother’s coming so, I thought I’d keep my boobs inside my bikini.” I said cheekily. She laughed harder than I expected. We walked back down the hall and into Liam’s room where we left the boys. We obviously walked in on them talking about something private. Zayn was sitting on the edge of the bed and Liam was turned around in his chair and they were deep in conversation. They looked up.
“Oh hey!” Zayn said trying to hide the fact that we walked in on them. I walked over and sat on Zayn’s lap.
“Let’s go out for dinner!” I said enthusiastically. They all agreed and soon we were in my car driving to Nando’s. We got inside and I recognized Niall’s blonde hair. I walked over and Louis and Niall had just gotten here and told us to join them. We had a really nice dinner and chatted about what we were going to do at the Lake house. It sounded like we were pretty much gonna wing it. Niall’s mom went shopping for us. We didn’t know what ten teenagers needed to live off of for a week. That meant she also bought us the alcohol.
“I wonder if Cara’s gonna give into Harry soon.” Louis suddenly brought up. He was clearly digging for Harry, trying to get information out of Kayleigh.
“Good question. If they pair up Liam, Louis, Bella, and I will be like fifth wheels.” Kayleigh said trying to change the conversation.
“Lucy isn’t my girlfriend!” Niall piped up.
“Basically.” Zayn started. “I mean the only reason you aren’t dating is you haven’t asked yet, bro.”
Niall blushed and I saved the day. “Oh shit I forgot to shave my leg!” I said reaching down. Zayn got to my leg first. She ran his hand up my calf “Stoooop!” I yelled pulling his hand away. “Ugh, it’s gross!”
“It’s cute! You’re like a werewolf!” he joked. Everyone laughed and tried to look under the table at my leg.
When we got back to the house we all decided we should go to bed. My parents were already asleep. Kayleigh went into my room to change and Liam went into the bathroom to brush his teeth.
“Hey you” Zayn said coming out of Liam’s room into the hallway. “If Kayleigh weren’t here, I could sleep in your room” he said darkly.
“Yeah, with my parents across the hall, good idea!” I said jokingly. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pushed me up against the wall. He started at my collar bone and kissed his way up my jawline until he found my lips. My hands moved up his back when we heard the bathroom door start to open. We pulled away quickly and I wiped my lips on the back of my hand.
“You think I don’t know what just happened…”Liam said passing us and smiling.
“Well, I should go to bed. Goodnight baby” I said sadly turning.
“Oh I guess I don’t get a goodnight kiss?” he said jokingly.
“What do you think that just was?” I said gesturing with my hand. I walked over to him and looked up into his brown eyes. I grabbed his face and pulled it down to mine, just a normal kiss, leaving him wanting more. I turned without saying anything and walked in to my room and shut the door. I was teasing him and it was fun. I climbed in bed next to Kayleigh who was already asleep. I was so excited about tomorrow I didn’t realize I was falling asleep.
