On a more personal note: I am an experienced and award-winning writer, but my previous work has all been in the realm of non-fiction. This is my first attempt at fiction. Closer than Ever does not include such fanciful staples of the fanfic genre as vampires, mafiosi, or reverse harem scenarios. It's a story of two people who meet and fall madly in love with each other, but each of them have past traumas that threaten to tear them apart.
