The next day, we are having a restful Sunday morning at home. Tae looks better and seems more energetic. He spreads jam on his toast at the kitchen island, while I stand and sip my coffee, trying to decide what I want for breakfast. Suddenly he looks up at me. "I think the concerts in Las Vegas are really going to happen. We should get you a hotel room before the concert dates are announced. The prices will probably go up after we announce."

I look at him and nod thoughtfully. "You know, Vegas is a much smaller city than LA. Or Chicago. I mean, it's small, like, I don't know, Anyang-sized. And it's going to be overrun with ARMYs. The new Raiders stadium holds, what 50 or 60,000 people for concerts? I'm a little worried about us being able to see each other without everyone on Earth hearing about it."

Taehyung makes thoughtful duck lips at me.

I study his face, thinking hard. "Hey, what if I got a vacation rental home somewhere away from the Strip, love? I bet we could probably have a whole house with a private pool and everything, for the same price as a hotel room!"

He nods. "If you're far away, I wouldn't be able to just walk to see you, though."

"Ugh, that's true. But could you walk around without getting mobbed by ARMYs, anyway? I think you would definitely have to bring your bodyguards with you, in a town that size. Or... do you think the company would be OK with you renting a car?" He makes a face. "I guess you could also just text me where and when to meet you, and I could come pick you up?" He shrugs and nods. "I wonder if you could use Ubers or Lyfts without causing an international incident?"

Tae looks at me quizzically. "Why would it be an international incident?"

"Well, I just worry that a driver might get excited and post something on social media that would let ARMY know where you were. Either your hotel, or the rental house's location. That would be a nightmare, either way." He nods again.

"I think you picking me up might be the best idea," he says. He hesitates and looks at me with his eyes wide. "And... I don't want you to be lonely, but I might want to stay at my hotel room a little bit more than I did in LA. I might alternate nights or something, or two with you and one with the members, if you will be OK."

I smile at him. "I think that's a good idea, love. I know that you have been missing your brothers. Speaking of siblings, I should see when Emily's spring break is. Maybe she could come stay for a while, too, if you wouldn't mind?"

He looks at me carefully, then licks his lips and grins. "Let's find a house with a long way between the bedrooms!"

I scoff and giggle. "Pervy. That sounds good. Maybe we can get one that has double master bedrooms - one on the ground floor, and one upstairs." I wink at him.

I grab my laptop and we sit down at the table. He crunches his toast while I scroll through vacation home listings. "Oh, babe, look at this one! Five star reviews. Sleeps up to twelve people, eight miles from the Strip, three king bedrooms, three and a half baths, two queen sleeper sofas, and a spare sleeping space in the converted garage, private pool and hot tub, an outdoor kitchen with a big gas grill, and a game room with foosball and table tennis. Look, there's a basketball hoop, too!" I grin over at him. "And it's just a tiny bit more per night than a regular double queen room at Mandalay Bay! What do you think? We could rent a party house for everybody!"
