Taehyung and the other BTS guys are gone for four days and three nights, recording a second season of In the Soop. I feel at loose ends, but I absolutely loved the first season, so I guess it's for a good cause... It's a shame that they can't stay longer, actually; this short window was the only time that all seven of them were going to be available.

On Sunday night, he sends me a text with a cute cellphone video of Jungkook's dog, Bam. I laugh at the randomness, and reply with a video of Lulu looking disdainful. It's weird but I actually miss him, although he's only been gone for a long weekend. Why does it matter that he's not in Seoul for a couple of days? We don't always see each other on the weekends, anyway.

In the meantime, I go to the studio on Monday with my guitar, and Slow Rabbit helps me record a couple of rough demos for Bang Si-hyuk to hear. I'm really nervous to be recording on my own, but Slow Rabbit is very kind and patient and makes me feel at ease. The songs sound surprisingly good, since I'm used to my own crappy cell phone recordings.

When Taehyung gets back from Gangwon-do he is noticeably refreshed by the short break, which is great to see. He's still sort of in vacation mode, which is OK since we're waiting on feedback from Bang PD; we end up hanging out at his condo for a couple of days, watching the Olympics from Tokyo and goofing around instead of getting much song-writing done. Bang PD finally sends his notes around midday on Thursday, so we start going through those together, getting back into the work groove.

It's late Friday morning, and I am rolling up to the condo after a long, sleepless night. I can't even explain why I was tossing and turning for hours, but I can't deny that Taehyung was on my mind. As soon as the elevator door opens into the condo, I can tell that something is going on with him, too. He seems very intense today, with a weird sort of energy. I want to ask him what's up, but I'm feeling too tired to deal with any drama or anything. After our usual greetings, I sit down on the sofa and get to work.

Despite my sleep deprivation and Tae's strange vibe, we have a pretty productive day. As the sun begins to go down I am trying to stay focused on the laptop in front of me, although I'm starting to nod off. Suddenly, his fingers are lightly running across my arm, setting fire to my skin. "Birdie..." he says in his deep, purring voice. "How are you?" My core feels like grenades are going off inside of me, and my breathing starts to come in short gasps. He stares at me, his dark eyes wide and dangerous. He leans in and softly kisses my lips, his hand moving up to cup the back of my head. It feels so good, so right that I want to cry. His tongue begins to probe at my lips, seeking entrance, but I pull away slightly.

"Taehyung, we can't do this. I signed a contract. I can get fired if we do this."

Tae smiles seductively, and I blush like a schoolgirl, dropping my gaze. "We just won't tell anyone," he purrs, bringing his hands to rest on my leg. "It's none of the company's business."

I start to tell him that actually it is the company's business, but he claims my lips again, his hands closing the lid of my laptop and setting it aside. I want him so badly that it physically hurts, and this time, I give in and kiss him back, our tongues tasting one another for the first time. His hands move up to rest on my shoulders, and then start to inch down toward my breasts. He pulls back to ask, "Is it OK if I touch you there?"

"Yes," I gasp as his hands slide down to cup my chest, gently kneading the soft flesh. I'm wide awake now.

Taehyung groans low and deep. "You are so beautiful..." he whispers. "Can I... can I take off your shirt?" I lift my arms over my head so that he can slip it off, and he sits back to admire me. I'm definitely blushing now. A small voice in the back of my head is telling me to grab my shirt and run for the elevator. But his elegant hands are roaming softly over my contours, exploring my body, and it feels so good that I think I might actually die if he stops.
