As we ride down to the museum in the basement level, I notice Taehyung's cologne? Aftershave? He smells very soothing, like standing in a tropical garden on an overcast day. The scent is familiar, but I can't remember what kind of flowers smell like that.

The entrance to the museum has a cool space-age vibe to it, with an array of giant screens showing different Hybe groups dancing their most enthusiastic choreographies. Taehyung and I stop to listen to some tracks on the built-in headphones. I watch a video about all the tech in Suga's studio, which is a little trippy since I was just standing there a few minutes ago.

Taehyung shows me elaborate numbered foot outlines on the floor, which are supposed to show how to do some of their choreos. We both give it a try, but the song titles and tracks aren't provided yet, so we're pretty much just flailing and laughing. "Yeah, that's exactly how that goes!" I say, shaking my head in embarrassment.

One room has lights like a galaxy zooming by, and then one wall lights up to reveal a ridiculously huge case full of hundreds of trophies. I can feel my eyes bugging out as I look at Taehyung. "These ones are all BTS's? Holy sh... cow."

He eye-smiles at me. "Yeah." He shrugs as if it's not a big deal.

I spend a long time examining James Jean's Seven Phases, a series of portraits of the BTS members. "Oh, wow... Namjoon-shi is a phoenix/fairy, with the moon, like Moonchild. Jin is Narcissus?" I laugh and look at Taehyung. "But he's not narcissistic, right? He just pretends to be, so he won't be shy. Doesn't he hate bugs? Why is he cuddling a bee?"

Taehyung shrugs and grins. "I don't think he would like that, in real life."

"Oh, Yoongi's is cool. He's a powerful sea-cat! But I feel like the crab should have been in Namjoon's portrait. Ahh... Hobi's is perfect. That really looks like him, to me." I smile. "Ohmygod, no! Why is Jimin being eaten by fungus, Taehyung-shi?! This is terrible!"

Taehyung laughs. "It's a little disturbing," he admits, shaking his head.

"OK, and you're covered with purple gems, a bit on the nose, and you're about to smash a saxophone with a giant V gem. Huh..." I tilt my head at the painting. "No offense, but I'm not sure that the artist has captured your essence, here." Taehyung grins, but makes no comment.

"And finally, Jungkook is being mobbed by bunnies, but at least he has cool kicks on..." Taehyung laughs and nods.

I stand back and survey the whole collection. "These are pretty strange."

We walk out through the gift-shop, and I stop to look at a display of resin items from the Upcycling Lab. Inside each is a little scrap of fabric from a performer's stage outfit. "How does it feel to be so famous that people will pay all this money for a tiny piece of your clothing?" I ask.

He laughs. "Weird things like this are part of the job. I just don't think about it too much." We walk back out into the lobby area.

I glance up at him. "So, do you know what I am going to be doing for the next few weeks while you're busy?"
