The jewelled eyed man sneered looking at the blonde who was completely shocked.
"T-the former emperor...."
She blurted out.
"I have been busy lately so I didn't got the time to meet you...my dear niece..."
"You look just like Claude...."
The older man embraced the baffled blonde just to whisper in her ears...
"Which makes me want to kill you more...."
Athanasia pushed him away then looked at him coldly.
"What do you want?"
"And most of all How are you alive?"
She asked while Lucas walked infront of her ready to attack him.
"I....I just want my rightful place back..."
Pulling out his hand the former emperor used a spell which took both of them by surprise.
"What-"

Though his spell wasn't able to even touch a bit of the two as another attack blocked it.
"Stay away"
The voice was familiar to the couple as they moved away to spot a little ravennete looking completely furious with her red eyes glowing.
"You...."
"You are..."
The former emperor looked at her and felt a familiar mana from it.
"Scarlet!"
Though for Athanasia she ran towards the little girl in hurry.
"What are you doing here!"
She asked.
"He... brother Lucas....he was the one who killed my family...."
The little ravennete pointed her finger at the emperor as Athanasia turned to look at him.
"I felt his mana and traced it just to come here..."
Scarlet spoke.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah...."
The ravenette hugged the blonde by the waist then spoke not looking in the blonde's eyes.
"Sister Athy....I'm sorry for lying..."
"But it was all for good...."
She mumbled.
"W-what do you mean Scarlet?"
Athanasia was bewildered by all the sudden actions and now this too.
"Sister athy I am actually-"
"It's not time for that!"
Scarlet's words were interupted by Lucas as she looked at him.
The older ravennete put his finger on his lips in a gesture to keep it a secret or keep quite which the younger understood.
But in the middle of it all the previous emperor realised whose mana wave was it...
A loud cackle escaped from his mouth making everyone's attention come back to him.
"Splendid"
He began.
"It's great!"
Everyone looked at him like he lost his left few brain cells.
"Are you crazy?"
Lucas asked confused looking at him
"nah! I am just happy that now it will be more easy to get my throne back"
"How?"
