CHAPTER-42

Lucas walked here and there in the tower to find something interesting to do...but nevertheless he got nothing as now the blonde was in library....

Then a idea popped inside his brain...

"Little rat!"
He shouted opening the door open swiftly of the younger's room.

He found her silently sitting on the bed with a book in her hand.

"W-what?"
She asked.

"Wanna learn magic?"
He questioned with a creepy smile which made the younger look at him with suspicion.

"No. Go away now"
She replied getting off the bed and standing infront of the ravennete.

"Why? Don't you love being with your big brother?"
He asked earning a disgusted look from the younger.

"Get lost already"
She said bored.

"I won't. I'm gonna clean your room today then"
He smirked.

He knew that she didn't liked anyone getting inside her room without permission... cleaning is another thing.

"Ha! Why? Have you finally hit your head!? Don't dare to come in my room!"
She shouted trying to push him outside but failed due to her short height.

"Hmmm! Why? Are you hiding someone here?"
He asked looking at her with narrow eyes.

The younger felt herself sweating hard at the question the older asked.....

"...I-I n-no!"
She shouted but was too late as the older was now in her room opening and looking through several things.

"H-hey! Get out!!! It's my room!!"
She shouted running behind him trying to stop him but the older ravennete was not going to be stopped easily.

"What? Why is this cupboard locked? Is this where you hid someone?"
The ravenette asked as the younger started sweating furiously.

"W-what are you s-saying... I-I Don't have a-anyone there..."
Scarlet stuttered trying to maintain her composure.

"Why are you sweating then?"
Lucas asked looking at her suspicious eyes.

"I...it's hot today...!"
She said.

"....I don't believe you"
He nonchalantly opened the licked cupboard just to find nothing but books inside it.

"Ha? Nothing...why were you scared then...so boring..."
He grumbled starting to walk away as the younger took a sigh of relief and glared at him.

"I told you to get out sooner"
She spatted and closed her door shut as soon as the older got out.

"Haa..."
A sigh escaped her lips as she sat on the ground.

"Luckily he didn't found out..."
She mumbled as the blonde boy came out from beneath the bed.

"Are you fine scar?"
He immediately ran towards her and asked worried.

"I...am fine...for now.."
The ravenette spoke getting up from the ground.

"Glad he didn't found you..."
She smiled at him...

But...

Why does his face looks...

Scared....

"S-scar..."
The blonde stuttered looking away from her to the ground.

"What happened Leo?"
Scarlet asked tilting her head...not noticing the shadow behind her.

"What are you doing you Rat!!!"
Shouted lucas as he held the younger from her back and made her hand in the air.

"Gaahhhhhh!?!?!?"

She shouted scared as the ravennete made her face him.

"Who.Is.He."
He asked glaring at her as she trembled...

"B-brother lucas...he..."
She tried speaking but instead tears came out of her eyes.

"Waaahhh I'm sorry!!"
"I-I just wanted a f-friend!!"
She shouted trying to wipe her tears but it does not dry.

The older flinched a little and let out a tired sigh.

He than looked at the trembling little blonde.

"Let's talk"
He said glaring at him as the blonde's head got deeper in the ground.

"So... that's how we met"
Scarlet sniffed after finishing her story about how she met her friend.

"Now...you want to have him live in the tower with us?"
Lucas asked as he sat on the chair, his legs crossed and his cheek resting on his hand.

"Yes."
Scarlet nodded her head with determined eyes as she sat on the ground infront of the older along with Leonard beside her.

"My tower is not a hotel anyone can live in...you know that right?"
The older asked glaring at the both.

Scarlet didn't even flinched a little as his glare while on the other side the blonde already was close enough to get inside the ground due to how much he have squeezed by now.

"I know. But I still want Leo"
She said looking straight in his eyes.

"Why should I allow it?"
Lucas asked making the ravenette roll her eyes and smirk.

"Then should I tell sister that one week ago you stole her-"

"Fine!"

Before she could even complete her sentence the older declared.

"Then..I hope you tell sister about sooner"
Scarlet smirked and got up from her sitting position and looked towards the blonde.

"Let's go Leo"
She smiled and stretched her hands towards him.

He looked up to her with teary eyes and took her hand standing up.

"S-scar...wait..."
He said though his voice came out a little cracked...the younger ravenette looked at him with confusion.

Slowly the blonde walked towards the older lucas and bowed.

"S-sir...thank you f-for letting me stay with S-scarlet...I promise I would be a great friend to her!"
He looked determined as he looked towards Lucas.
The older looked at him with an eye raised.

"Also...I...want to do something... to return your favour..."
He said lowering his voice and obediently bowing.

Scarlet looked at him with disbelief filled eyes as the older smirked.

"Sure...why not"
He said with a smirk.

"Then go do dishes. Athanasia told me to do that...but I'm just too tired"
He spoke as the blonde nodded.

"Sure! I'll be back soon!"
Leo bowed again and ran off to the kitchen to do his task.

"Remember to give me a shoulder massage after doing that!"
Lucas shouted laying his head on the table with a smirk and closing his eyes.

"Okay!!"

Scarlet looked at the older in disbelief and glared at him.

"What do you think you're doing?"
She asked as the ravennete smirked.

"This is what your friend asked for. Don't blame me"
"Anyway he wouldn't have to do it daily"
He said getting up and holding the ravennete from her collar as she was hanging in the air.

Then he took her like a sack of potato in his room and threw her inside.

"I'm going to my room. Bye"

...I felt like I made lucas a lot irritating in this chapter...
