Kate Bishop: We're not seriously rescuing Loki, are we?

Thor: He is my brother. I will not see him abandoned as we flee to safety.

Y/n: Yeah but he's a supervillain.

Thor: He is a living being, he does not deserve this.

Korg: Yeah cool, but I've seen you kill a lot of living creatures recently.

Thor: They deserved it.

Korg: Did they, though?

Thor: Probably.

Loki: Brother, as meagre as the midgardians are: they have a point. Why trust me?

Thor: Make no mistake, Loki. I do not trust you. What I do I do out of mercy

Loki: Oh thank you, merciful God.

Loki smirks as he mocks his brother, the members of Thor's group are decidedly not impressed. Y/n reluctantly unlocks the cage as Captain Carter tugs the God of Mischief by the arm.

Loki: Wait! I need my sceptre.

Y/n: Where the hell is it?

Loki: The Grandmaster has it on display in the main quarters.

Kate Bishop: We'll isn't that lucky? We're headed there.

Loki: How wonderful. And do you intend to just stroll in there? Perhaps you'll offer the Grandmaster a cup of tea.

Thor: Do you wish to go back in your cell?

Loki: Look, brother, I admire your blatant disregard for thought as charming as the next man. But he is a celestial, one of the oldest beings in existence. He has seen things that-

Y/n: -He's a ghost story.

The others look to him, they didn't intend to be rude (except maybe Loki) but they didn't exactly trust Y/n's word in this matter.

Peggy Carter: Excuse me?

Y/n: Have any of you actually been in a room alone with that guy?

Thor: I have. He's an idiot.

Y/n: Exactly! He's just an urban legend. The bogeyman, he ain't shit.

Y/n's confidence seems to be infectious as the others rally to his ideals.

Kate Bishop: Yeah! All we need to do is get you in there so you can pop his ass and we'll be good.

Hulk: Hulk smash blue man!

They are interrupted as their chitauri ally bursts through the door, commanding them with a panicked expression.

Chitauri: You have to get going, now!

As the team exits the chamber they hear the sounds of conflict as five slaves attempt to overpower a crew member. They are failing miserably but the crewmate's strikes upon them only rally more of the work force toward the cause.

Captain Carter: Let's go.

Back on Earth, Charles Xavier rolls through the halls of The X-Mansion. Word of Y/n's accidental exile had spread fast, many of the mutants were troubled by the knowledge that a group such as the Illuminati existed. Before now it has been a closely guarded secret, clearly Kitty had spilled on their proceedings.

Cyclops: He'll be back, you have to give him time.

Charles arrives upon some of the X-Men offering their support and confidence to Kitty; the girl was in quite a state and refused to leave her dorm.
