All dead already

Carnage grabs Miles and leaps high through the hole in the ceiling, Miles tries to connect a web to the floor of the lab but ends up stringing it to Gwen by mistake.

Gwenpool: Oh, for-

Gwen is yanked to the surface of the rig along with Miles and Carnage. Peter and Y/n remain in the underground with Osborn who readies his attack. He jumps into the air and his glider arrives at breakneck speed to provide a landing for him.

Green Goblin: Let's go for a ride!

Osborn snatches Y/n from the ground and flies towards the peak of the rig: the radio tower. Parker launches himself out of the hole and chases Norman down. Y/n is being held by his collar and panics as he looks at the harsh drop below him.

Spider-Man: You put him down right now, Norman!

Osborn uses his free hand to throw three pumpkin bombs down at Parker. They break apart in mid-air to reveal small flying discs with serrated edges.

Gwenpool: You saw the movies, you know what he means.

Back on the ground, Gwen and Miles avoid strikes from the genetically modified symbiote. Carnage was much less bulky than his black counterpart and by associate was far more nimble. He also experimented with a new technique: creating weapons. He shoots spikes at Miles from his clawed fingertips.

Spider-Miles: Woah! I don't remember Venom being able to do that!

Gwenpool: New update!

The duo manage to dodge Carnage's attacks and close ground between them in order for Miles to deliver a venom strike to the symbiote. It emits another fractured screech but overall is able to shrug the attack off and bat the two away.

Spider-Man: Don't worry, Y/n! I'm coming!

Y/n: I'M FUCKING WORRYING, SPIDER-MAN!

Green Goblin: You sound stressed, why not spend some time on the rocks?

Goblin throws Y/n off the rocks and towards a collection of rocks below. On the ground: Carnage has Miles pinned and is about to literally bite his face off. Norman then ups the ante by throwing a pumpkin bomb directly at Gwen. For Parker: the world moves in slow motion as he is in midair. He shoots a web at the radio tower and another at the pumpkin bomb. The pumpkin bomb's web is used to recalibrate it's course towards Carnage. The radio tower's web is used so Peter can propel himself towards Y/n, catching him.

Spider-Man: I gotcha!

They still fall towards the rocks but Parker nobly uses his own body as a shield for Y/n against the rocks as they both tumble into the water. On the surface of the rig: the pumpkin bomb hits Carnage in his side- he flies off of Miles and the symbiote is detached via flames. It writhes on the ground. Gwen helps Miles up.

Gwenpool: You good there, rookie?

Spider-Miles: Thanks.

They look to the half-man the symbiote had used so shamelessly. Not having either Carnage or his pod for support: he had died near instantly. His corpse was certainly a ghastly sight to behold, however there was no doubt that he was in a better place now. Battered and drowsy: Y/n and Spider-Man join their allies.

Gwenpool: Enjoy your flight?

Y/n: Shut up.

The moment of brevity is cut short when Goblin's bone chilling laugh cuts through the air, he descends in front of them on his glider and grins as he stares at each opposing force individually.

Spider-Man: You know, I really think green is going out of fashion.

Miles charges his venom strike.

Spider-Miles: I agree.

Green Goblin: As do I.

He grins as the others realise what he is doing. Both Spider-Men shoot their webs but it is too late as Osborn bonds with the Carnage symbiote. The resulting horror shakes violently in the air before balancing itself on it's new glider. Fire bellowed from it's mouth as it tore its gaze down upon it's adversaries.

Gwenpool: We are so totally boned...

Red Goblin: Yes, my dear. You are all dead already. Your minds simply have not caught up.

It was clear fire would not work on this hybrid, luckily: Miles had a unique idea of his own. Red Goblin spearheads towards Y/n who manages to roll under the glider. The monster turns in the air and breathes a beam of fire at the group which they manage to avoid.

Spider-Miles: Guys! I got an idea but it's kind of insane!

Gwenpool: Yes! My favourite!

Spider-Miles: See if you can hold his mouth open!

Spider-Man webs Red Goblin down off of his glider- making him fall onto the ground. There is a short bout of hand-to-hand combat between them before Parker is overpowered as Osborn sinks his claws into Spider-Man's left shoulder and tosses him away. Gwen is up next as she dual wields uzis and fires upon Red Goblin. Osborn spits flames at Gwen.

Spider-Miles: Now, Y/n!

Y/n fires a shot from his stun gun into Norman's mouth, making him splutter and fall to his knees. Gwen then kicks him in the face and sends him onto his back.

Spider-Miles: Okay, we know it works. Now I just have to get in close enough.

Tendrils emerge from the Goblin's back that help him to his feet. From the ground: Peter attaches webs to the villain's wrists to keep his arms from being used.

Spider-Miles: Hold his mouth open!

Y/n holds down Red Goblin's lower jaw and Gwen does the same for the upper jaw, careful not to cut themselves on his jagged teeth. Before he can singe their arms: Miles' hand surges yellow with a venom blast as he sticks it down Red Goblin's throat. He shoots the bio-electricity deep into the beast as it begins to glow with the same energy surging through Miles. The fire in it's belly scalds Miles as he shrieks.

Spider-Miles: AAAHHHH!

As Miles falls his hand slips out of the Goblin's mouth: Y/n catches him and Gwen removes her hands from Osborn's Jaw. The monster glows yellow and screams in agony before exploding on the spot. Chunks of both flesh and goo fly across the rig as a ringing pounds the ears of the heroes. They get up and look around at the destruction.

Gwen: I don't think we'll be seeing him again.

Y/n: Miles, you ok?

Miles left arm had no sleeve below the elbow and was both burnt and bloody.

Spider-Miles: I can't feel my arm, but that's only temporary. Right?

Y/n: I'm sure it'll be fine. But we should get you on the jet before you pick up any radioactive particles.

Spider-Man joins them, looking at Norman's former body strewn across the area.

Y/n: Should probably get you onboard too. Thanks for that back there.

Parker does not respond.

Y/n: Spidey? You good?

Spider-Man: He's dead. He ruined my life. He hospitalised my aunt once, killed my first love... and now he's gone.

Gwenpool: You feel bad because it feels good.

Spider-Man: How did you know?

In a surprisingly mature move, Gwen helps Spider-Man deal with his emotions as Y/n walks Miles back to The Quinjet as we zoom out from the red-soaked oil rig and pan to foggy skies...
