Chapter Three
What Makes The Hero(Nobody's Pov!)
After orientation had ended everyone headed back to their assigned dorms. A very large building sat at the corner in the very large field where Chrysanthemum Academy stood. There were countless pathways with large bushes with beautiful flowers lining the cobblestone paths. There was not a single crack in the pathway nor a single wilted flower. This academy was very prestigious. They didn't let one thing go out of order. Not even for a single moment would they allow anything to wrong here.
The dormitory building was larger than the school. It was a white building with gold and silver trim and pillars. The group of new students entered the building and gasped at the amazing entry way.
It had a large marble archway with a golden crystal chandelier enchanting the room with a comforting golden light. There was a long royal blue rug leading up to the grand staircase. The entire downstairs was simply a common room for students to interact and enjoy some activities such as reading, painting, and so much more. There were tan couches and simple chairs and some dark wooden tables with vases full of beautiful flowers. The room smelled like vanilla with a hint of roses.
The upstairs had two halls that lead to either the girls or boys dorm. The ladies went towards their rooms while the boys headed towards theirs. A couple women who had been living at Chrysanthemum Academy for a year or two peeked out of their rooms, watching the newbies walk down the hall. The entire dorm was blooming with excitement at the news of fresh young heroes. It was so exciting to see what they'd become!
"Why are they look at us?" Maddie questioned, looking around nervously.
"It's because we're new." Mackenzie spoke, quietly. She looked over her shoulder at the many faces peering out from their rooms. Mackenzie ignored them and continued walking down the hall towards her dorm.
"I don't like being new. I don't like how they look at us." Emily said, crossing her arms in annoyance.
"I feel so anxious. I hope I show them how strong I can be." Maddie said, causing Emily to chuckle.
"Good luck with that! Just you wait until the mid year test. I'm gonna kill you and then come in first place." Emily said, laughing as Maddie rolled her eyes. The two girls began bickering back and forth while they headed towards their rooms.
"Guys, These three are ours." Mackenzie said, pointing at the rooms. "Oh! I can't wait!" Maddie cheered, rushing into her room. Mackenzie is walked into her room and placed down her bags.
Her room was a decent size with a very small bathroom connected to it. It seemed as though all students had a small private bathroom. Mackenzie admired the room that had white trim and maroon walls. It seemed as though they customized it personally for her. She was rather surprised that they detailed it just right. She walked forwards spotting a small red couch with golden silk throw pillows. There was a flat screen tv hanging on the wall with a dark oak table sitting in front of the couch with a vase full of roses.
She admired the Queen sized bed with red and gold sheets and covers. The frame of the bed was golden and dark oak. The gold trim shined in the bright light provided by the hanging Crystal chandelier in the center of the room.
She began unpacking her belongings in the dresser and closet. Suddenly someone knocked on the door causing her to turn around immediately. She walked to the door and opened it revealing Miss Evergreen.
"Hello! I hope you remember me! I'm Miss Evergreen the medical training teacher! I'm telling all the new heroes to create their Hero Uniforms and deliver them to me! Once you give me your uniform design I will have it delivered to your dorm the next day!" Miss Evergreen said, smiling happily.
