Chapter Thirty Three
What Is A Nightmare?

(Nobody's Pov!)

Her fist slammed down hard on her coffee table, launching everything to the ground. Her hypnotic green eyes flashed as she glared deeply at the television.

"A terrifyingly powerful villain has attacked the city. It seems as though her goal was to capture some of our young heroes. Her powers are said to be the most formidable in the country. She's one of the most deadly assassins we've come across so far. Currently she's still on the run alongside The Masked Destroyers crew. Be careful out there." The news broadcast explained, causing the green and black haired woman to growl. Her damned sister had gone and done it again making another headline. Everyone was so impressed with Cordelia's powers that Esmeralda felt angry. After all she had always been the better sister.

"If they're impressed with Cordelia's powers they're going to revel in mine! I'm greater than she'll ever be!" The woman shouted at the tv, her hand encasing itself in a haunting green mist. Soon green mist horns appeared on her head as she activated her powers.

"I'm going to join The Phoenix and show how I get things done. I'll capture those silly little heroes with ease." Esmeralda spoke out confidently. If she could get The Phoenix's squad to come with her she could finish this easily unlike her sister who failed to capture some young heroes.

All was quiet at the academy and nobody was awake. After all a big test was coming for the students and they all needed to be ready to preform at their best. Being a hero was tough work, but these tests were even worse then being out in the field!

Soon a sparkling glowing green mist surrounded the school, slipping through every crack in the walls. Once everyone was infected with the mist that's when they could strike. Esmeralda chuckled quietly as she kneeled down behind the walls of the school, the mist continuously flowing out of her hands.

"That's kinda gross." Calida chuckled, brushing a strand of her spiky red hair out of her face. "Oh shut it, Cal." Bruno said, rolling his eyes as Esmeralda ignored their comments.

"It's interesting. This will allow us to complete the mission for my father. Don't mess it up or I'll personally take your lives." Ayaka growled, side eyeing the group.

"Take it easy." Calida chuckled, rolling her eyes at Ayaka's threat. Bruno shook his head, ignoring his sisters words.

"Can you all keep it down? We have to be quiet for this to actually work." Frostine snapped, looking back at her squad mates.

"Frostine is right. I don't want another peep out of any of you." Ayaka whispered, angrily. Ayaka looked back at Esmeralda who stood up, a smirk on her face.

"Go get them. They'll be in a trance for awhile. I doubt they'll be able to figure out how to escape. It's nearly impossible to escape your biggest regrets and fears." Esmeralda chuckled, feeling powerful. The more people who were afraid the stronger she would become.

"Let's move." Ayaka ordered, hopping high into the air, right over the schools walls. Esmeralda smirked and watched as each member made their way over the wall. Esmeralda knew all of these idiots were nothing compared to her. The only person who she was loyal to was the most unholy being himself. He was truly the embodiment of Satan. Her unholiness was only rivaled by his. He was truly an amazing villain and someone she would remain loyal too. She heard of him, but meeting him was an experience she would never forget. The feeling of his fire on her skin was exhilarating and his need for chaos was even better!
